You're imagining a questionnaire I think. All the answers on this form are specific to me, not a whole lot of wiggle room for inventive answers, so even though I like the idea, I don't think it would be very effective.

My Mam always laughs when I go off on a rant, because apparently I pepper in lots of humour to subconciously calm myself or something

Rachel Stevens on a Pogo Stick I'll lend you a black pen. In fact I'll even go as far as to give you a black pen. I still think you shouldnt bother with the form if thats what you want but wouldnt it feel even better to actually have a black pen and still not fill it out?

It would definitely feel better to have a black pen and still not fill it out. When I said I didn't have any black pens though, I really meant I didn't have one handy. I know I definitely have one somewhere, but I'd have to go to the effort of digging it out of the Miscellaneous drawer, and that drawer is really more about throwing stuff into it rather than ever taking anything back out again...
I actually think I know the form that you are talking about 😂 if it is that, it's a stupid form that doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things

I'd say there's a 95% chance you probably are thinking about the exact form... It literally serves zero purpose...
Aldi's strawberrys, variety - Marquis are crap.
Don't bother with them.
I knew when I was buying them that they weren't great (I always smell them) but I needed strawberrys for breakfast.
Crispy, tasteless & not juicy 👎
I feel like I've been hit by a bus.
Fuck off migraine, fuck the fuck off you fucker 🤬🤬🤬
Aaaaand another migraine, courtesy of the stinking cheap paint my neighbours have plastered onto their door (apartment, so door is in a fairly unventilated corridor and directly across from mine ~1 meter, my own door isn't exactly airtight)
Managed to not throw up (yet) but have had to go to bed

Try a caffeine drink in a dark quiet room, migraines really are a headache, a pain, (ironic pun funny) but so many triggers, take care @
nothing
Chop their door down with an axe, I say
I hate those videos posted online of dad with a beard playing with a small child.
Dad goes off, shaves his beard, comes back with his face covered, then reveals himself to a now scared & crying baby.
Like it's not funny or cute at all. I'm not sure why anyone would think it's entertaining for their baby to be scared & confused.
They pop up on my feed every so often & I hate them

I once worked with a guy who had an epic moustache, we're talking Ned Flanders/Tom Selleck levels of epicness here, and one day he came into work and it was gone, and I was scared and crying too, he looked creepy without it (granted, he also looked pretty creepy with it, but still)
Anyway, it was very distressing, so I quit*
*I was planning on quitting anyway, but that was a signal to actually pull the trigger
Only a creep would wear a creepy moustache (I'm convinced of this)
Although, they do seem to be creeping back in as some sort of 'fashion' trend
I'm glad you left that job, you should be safe® now
Goddamn migraine is a stubborn one.
In other rant worthy news, a friend sent me a far right video, but made no comment so I'm not sure if she's an eejit buying into it, if she's being scared by it, or if it was sent as a "look at this rubbish" and I'm really hoping it's not some racism peeking through 😳
My bank account doesn't like my bank holiday weekend shenanigans
How's the migraines @

I'm trying Melatonin to help me with sleep

Thankfully subsided for now.

I finally caved and filled it out, but having refused to go near it for 6 days (despite their insistence I return it ASAP) and answering a couple of the questions really passive aggressively, to the point it will definitely irritate them a bit, I feel somewhat vindicated
Weddings are expensive (as a guest too)

Yeah, they really can be. Feels like venues take the piss a bit, but they know they can. Last one I was at was in Dublin. €7 a pint and crazy money to stay so I didn't drink much and got the bus home shortly after midnight. Felt bad being a bit of a dry shite, but what can you do?

Hotel is "fully booked" for the date, but oh look there are rooms available if you want to stay TWO nights and make a weekend out of it. Weasels...

I haven't even gone down that road yet...
Yeah the hotels are awful gougers of late. Not a hope of them passing on the VAT rate decrease they've been enjoying the past few years at all.

Oh, that's really shitty
We got married at a venue where you got the entire place. There were dormitories that mates could stay in, basic but free, and they even allowed camping on the ground which a few took advantage of. There was no licence so we had to "sell" poker chips to swap for drinks, but we got most at supermarket prices and they sorted us kegs of Guinness at a good price, so all drinks were 3 for a tenner. It was awesome, everyone got battered and was going until daylight

Yeah pretty shitty alright. Apparently lots of hotels are doing that. I know people working in the industry, I've given them an earful ...
Now that wedding sounds awesome. Can we do some crowdfunding and buy the venue?
(21-02-2023, 11:01 AM)Barna77 Wrote: [ -> ]Now that wedding sounds awesome. Can we do some crowdfunding and buy the venue?
Sounds great. I can afford about €20, so we just need 100,000 of us 🤣
Add the €9 I won on the euromillions, and that's €1,999,971 to go.
On day 3 of trying to adjust my sleep pattern, it's going ok, and I'm woken up by this god awful hum outside which turned into (at a guess) an aircraft noise of some kind and fecked off. Something low flying for sure. Now I'm wide awake ffs

I sail the seas for most of what I watch, or use Disney+. VPN would probably sort me out tbh
