Buttercream would last for 2 weeks in fridge (covered) or 48 hours at room temp. Can freeze it for long use though.  Should always take it out of fridge about an hour or 2 before you plan to eat it to give it the best texture

As for the cake, could probably last about a week in fridge at decent/good quality
If it's wedding cake it's meant to last 9 months so it can be had at the Christening of the first child Rolleyes

That would be an ecumenical matter.
Cake is no on the diet...

...but that never stopped me before! pac
Class-side, teacher just told me she's not worried about me at all, and said my two finished drawings are great! The relief. Hopefully the afternoon teacher will be ok too
In work, bored out of my mind. Not even youtube is entertaining.

The worst part is making it look like I'm busy

Ye gods, I hate that too! I keep a journal and when I'm bored at work I just type up an email with whatever thoughts were in my head to add to the journal later. It was (somewhat) constructive, and made me look busy.

You need to find a cure  for your 'work' disease

Did you ever see the Billy Wilder film 'Avanti!'  ?

For some time it was on YT.  Had to be taken down to boost Googles profits...

Available on DVD in the RoI public library system  ( sometimes as one of a box set of Bill Wilder films )

What I really wanted but couldnt find is a scene where Pamela jumps on the scales after several days of no diet and finds that she has lost weight

Ya Gotta see the full picture !  Big Grin
Ooooh shall order it with the library so, hopefully for next weekend when I've no pending assignments
