Working sucks, why can't I just win the Euromillions?

I know the feeling. Not even the Euromillions, at my age even the regular lottery would make life a whole lot more comfortable.
I guess I shouldn't really complain given the office I work in when not working from home, but still
At my age, and living frugally, I'd retire if I won the local church raffle.

Nah, if you all that times on your hands you need money to enjoy it!
Randomly wake up on a Monday and decide to go to Aslaka/fly to London for a meal in swanky restaurant/coffee in Paris etc.

Lots of reading material already, access to the library, and several DVD boxsets would probably keep me going. I'd forgo swanky meals and coffees not to have to work.
I dunno how,
But somehow I completely forgot to post here.
Welcome back @
TheValeyard . Just don't leave us again and you'll be forgiven for not posting.
The days are getting shorter but the weeks seem to be getting longer, roll on the weekend.
Someone in France stole my 200million, but there is still the Irish lotto on Wednesday
(I know logic and lotto do not compute
)
I'm a full on grumpasaurus the last few days

I felt bad for a snail today - I hate snails, they freak me out... clearly there is something wrong with the world and not us at the moment
(P.S. The snail still lives, just not in my Dad's porch anymore
)
Was making a "thing" for granddaughter for Halloween , prittstick and lip balm on the table beside me . No need to guess what I used as lip balm.....

Oh lordie
This is why I do quickpicks and don't have set numbers... If I do it I walk to a shop and get a quick pick.

I couldn't live with myself if that happened to me!
Woke up entirely too early. No idea how I'll get through today. Eugh. Tired me is grumpy me.
Coffee is your friend, nothing.

Definitely a day for it!
Some months ago there was a sheep game on Boards. To the question, "something you'd throw on the fire" I answered "my manager", which alarmed the game host.
I stand by my answer
Oh, I get ya, I used to be the same until recently.
I get why the host would be alarmed though. Given how full of themselves some managers are, there'd probably be some nasty stuff in the resulting smoke and ashes
Anyway, homeside here, just finishing up the last 30 minutes of work before it's off to the city for another work-related dinner. And to think that I'd originally hoped to lose some weight once office work returned
3 days done back in office
The 6 o Clock Show is making a 'prebiotic' apple crumble shortly.
No idea what that means but I think Mam should tune in to get tips for her batch baking for us...
Aren't Apples a naturally prebiotic food type anyways?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhh!
It's been a long ass day.
Prebiotics, gut friendly like probiotics!
(I had to Google, never heard of prebiotic before now!)
Honestly never heard of a prebiotic.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6463098/
2. Definition
The prebiotics concept was introduced for the first time in 1995 by Glenn Gibson and Marcel Roberfroid [4]. Prebiotic was described as “a non-digestible food ingredient that beneficially affects the host by selectively stimulating the growth and/or activity of one or a limited number of bacteria in the colon, and thus improves host health”.
.
Dawg thinks : A fad originating in the U. S. of A. of little value to anyone who does not live off processed foods
Homeside, tired & grumpy 'cause everything aches
Why is Leggy taking so long to win the lottery ?
Manager needs to have a word with her with regard to performance on this.
I'm trying, dawg, Lord knows I'm trying!
I only read back over the last few days posts now
Does anyone know if Mam managed to unstick her lips yet?
Homeside finally. It's remarkable just how much you can do on just two hours of sleep
Home, getting into pjs, not getting dressed again until Tuesday
Happy Bank Holiday weekend ye (not so old) fogies
Looking forward to sleeping in and not doing very much
I'm hoping to get a lie on in the morning too Nothing .
