So your activity level will be living up to your name then, nothing? pac

Homeside, having just locked away my work computer.

I know I'll be in energy savings mode for the entire long weekend. Out of Office Reply is active, won't be hearing about work until Tuesday...
It is my favourite thing to do - nothing.

I have lots of tv to catch up on, plenty of easy meals in the fridge/freezer.

Do need to do a few bits around the apartment, but nothing too stressful.

When was this decided ?

Why did it take Mo4 to tell me ? and at 7:29PM on the Friday evening ?

( might explain why certain personages were very reluctant to attend a meeting on Monday Big Grin )
I really think that Mo4 should be considered as an important branch of MI5 pac

@dawg , am lol at the last line of your post!

What is this 'considered'  that you speak of ?

Most of us here know the real position, indeed a few FoGies are here just to use the forum as an ersatz dead letterbox

Obvious questions :

Name the accounts being used by

'M'  :
'Q'  :

'N' never gets on screen but is prominent here

Of course there is also that dude with a white cat on his lap  Dodgy
First day back in the office since March last year today, and what a complete waste of time that was.  A lot of stuff that we'd normally have to do a day in advance wasn't necessary today because of the bank holiday, so the three of us did whatever other stuff was necessary and then chatted for the rest of the day.  We did at least get out for a good lunch though. Smile
Anyone up for a bop in a nightclub?
I'll hire a mini bus and round you all up.
Stilettos, mini skirts and alcopops are calling..

I haven't been to a nightclub in about 15+ years. Do they do tea? Are comfy pjs acceptable?
Nightclubs ,.. nothing , I'm like you except it was even longer since I was in one .

PM , we'll be ready and waiting!

I just saw a video for the queue for Coppers on social media. It is the stuff of nightmares!

Pub I was in had live music and was nearly empty..

Wouldn't go near coppers thankfully, even in my partying days
I've only been to Coppers once and that was for lunch pac

I was in my 30s when I moved to Ireland, not sure I'm the target market. And everyone knows Dicey's is better anyway Wink

Good luck to them all tonight though, hope they all have a cracking night. That age group have missed out on so much in the last 18 months and the impression I get is that most of them have been really sound, and predominantly for the benefit of other people. Just got to hope the decision makers have made the right decision and it won't cause a massive surge. Once they're actually checking vaccine certs on the door it should, hopefully, be OK
I'm doing a course at the moment by distance learning. We had our first session a week before Covid lockdown. We had our last lecture session last week. Even though we are all around 35 - 50, we went back to our real student days for 3 nights and partied and drank way too much.
There were some other students, real young ones, out on the town also, all having a good time which was great to see. A proper college experience for the first time for so many of them!
Have a great weekend all

Freedom Day has Come! Take Care Stay Safe
I have everything crossed that it won't be groundhog day again in December like last year when the full lock down was announced for Christmas.
I couldn't cope with a second year of that. Christmas for me is about visiting friends and family and I sorely missed that last year.
Been to Coppers a few times, far too many people let in, you're waiting at the bar forever, avoid.

I've been to Coppers four or five times and always had a laugh, some blurry nights... ahem. I'm 100% not their target market  Big Grin

I know someone who worked in Dicey's as floor staff. I think she has PTSD.
Diceys is only really famed for its beer garden which is great mind you. Dtwo is probably my fav up that way, used to be a super spot.
Lovely lie on with no alarm this morning. Intend to do SFA today.

Sofaside in comfy pjs, fluffy blanket and a pile of TV to catch up on is ready to go.
Is there an "I'm annoyed" thread here yet.. so I can vent..
I was in a Kilkenny Design Shop today and there was a crimbo tree in the window. Not so bad, I could walk past it and ignore it..but..
Inside the shop, the Christmas tunes were on their sound system.. tales of santa sleighs and snow showers.
I swear to fock, if I worked there and was subjected to that in October, I'd rip the plug off the speakers.
Coppers was supposedly where culchie guards and nurses went to hook up. Big Grin

It's nice to see things opening back up and socialising taking off again, there's only so much staring at the 4 walls we can expected to endure.
At my folk's house

Congrats to the newlyweds! (just catching up now)

Tis a miserable day today

I'm off to Switzerland in a few weeks, flights were booked yesterday. Yay! Smile
Oooh fun! Bring us all back chocolate!

First sign that you're married.

Cards are not popular here. We still get some from Ireland every year though.
Sofaside, contemplating what to have for breakfast, another lazy day ahead
Mornin' everyone *yawn*

Tableside with a coffee, trying to figure out which task to ignore first...
Another lazy day here, got loads of housework done yesterday so today is a day to watch TV and switch off.

Hope you all enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend despite the gloomy weather.
Was a grand day here.

Did a bit-of-this and a bit-of-that

Golly, but I'm tired now

Sleepy
In the leaba watching Chicago Fire . Another day over with☺
Don't forget to turn off your alarms if you're not working tomorrow!

I did that last Monday!

Thanks! Now to hope the cat doesn't wake me at 630/7am as he has done the last 2 mornings.
I've stopped hoping mine will ever ever give me a lie in. Wouldn't be without her though. If she gets me up, that's just more time I get to spend with her.
My alarm was turned off on Friday. Tongue

Tableside in pajamas and dressing gown, I haven't decided if I'll bother getting dressed yet. More coffee first ...
Sofaside, waiting on some shows to download, also won't be stirring out of pjs today
Tableside here, writing like my life depends on it.

It doesn't but who knows when writer's block will strike again. It's best to get as many drafts for my blog done as possible while the words flow pac

Also contemplating getting a second coffee...
