Maybe they are the kind to wear their PJs out and about, could be important not to clash with your hair in that case Wink

I should work out the scores if "average" played, see if that wisdom of crowds thing has any truth to it.
Yesterday the average guess was 62% and the answer was 76%, so i suspect not

And a strong oompa loompa fake tan vibe... Big Grin Yeah, I go down to get my mail with slippers, trackies and a hoody on, but leaving the house in PJs is not for me.

It's getting near now folks !
I still don't have a proper Christmas tree Undecided at this stage I don't know if I will even bother as I will be going to Limerick on Thursday until 28th.
I have a 1.5ft one on the kitchen counter and a Lego one and it might just be enough... Hating myself for this!
Have my beef paid for to pick up xmas eve to cook, will sort the big shop on Monday night as I'm booked for Tuesday. Still not fully decided on sides. Will be freezer diving in the mean time to clear some space. No decorations here, not arsed. Big tidy up begins tomorrow.
I've gotten a few extra bits in the shopping for the last few weeks , so it's mainly the fresh stuff left to get next week .
Think we're all on cleaning spurts ☺

I won't even have any visitors, just feels like the right kind of time to reduce the chaos levels

Doubt I'll have visitors either Nothing , we usually don't tbh . Apart from the kids , usually on the same day for an hour or so .

I'll probably go over to a couple of friends on a few days, but honestly prefer the peace and a solitary couple of days, treating myself with good food, good tv and lie ons Smile
Sounds ideal ! Looking forward to a few lie ons here too tbh ☺
We'd made plans for all of us to have Christmas Dinner as a family , for the first time in years , at sons house . Just hoping new restrictions tomorrow don't put an end to that tbh .

Ah I'd say it won't be as extreme as that this year, be lovely to get to do that. Any grandbabies to spoil?

Hoping it's not , Nothing !

Oh excellent! I think the kids santa excitement is the best bit of Christmas, I'll be expecting pics of my best friends wee ones post-Santa.

Totally agree , kids make Christmas really , the awe in their eyes , the excitement is infectious from them .
Hope you get lots of pics!
I need to start planning my tv watching for the day, picking out the must sees - there's specials of sewing bee and bake off, obviously doctor who on new years is essential viewing, and have an eye on around the world in 80 days on bbc on xmas day.
I was texting my sis in law today, their 18 month old (my goddaughter) is terrified of Santa. Terrified. So she found a way to stop her pulling out all her jigsaws and throwing them everywhere... They put a Santa on top of the pile Big Grin They have a 2 month old as well so it's helping with the general house chaos.

My other brother has a 6 and 5 year old, and they are so excited. They live next door to my parents so there will be no lie ins for me once I go down to visit. They will be over early every morning to play something or another. I can't wait. So excited to spend time with them all!
I built my godsons' main gift today (wooden barn that comes with play farm animals, etc.) Big Grin Was fun, I would have enjoyed it I think, as there is a openable barn door and a hayloft style partial upstairs - so lots of different places to put stuff pac Hopefully he likes it too!
I asked his mom when I got it if I should unpack and make it, as they were due a new baby before xmas and wouldn't have free hands for toy assembly (Blue and sparkly number 2 is 6 days old Big Grin).
@ari101 @cee_jay @nothing
Hope you all enjoy the fun and time with the little ones☺
Yes lots of extreme cuteness going around Smile I was hoping to get to exercise my talents at shopping for pink and sparkly pac so a blue number 2 probably saves me a lot of money Big Grin Though holding off to see what arrived means I still have to buy new baby an xmas gift Big Grin
Lol , happy shopping Ari !
So many choices and decisions to be made , something that can be added on to for years to come or ...or....em.?...babies are the hardest to buy for !
@Mam of 4 have your family Christmas Dinner regardless of any new restrictions, you'll all know where you've been.

I'm happy to spread some Christmas cheer, so those of you in a cleaning mode are very welcome to visit (i.e. clean). Tongue
@Leg End Reject , I'll go clean for you , once you have lots of coffee! !

Thanks , last Christmas was sad , saw both families at different times for twenty minutes or so each as we all were trying to abide by the restrictions . ..
Plenty of coffee here Mam, I'll even throw in a few biscuits. pac
Sister is flying in from UK for Christmas on Sunday, assuming there's no change on that front. Hopefully there isn't as my parents would be gutted and so would my kids if she can't make it.

Spiced?! Feck no - just a bone in rib roast
I've never eaten spiced beef tbh .
The turkey and stuffing is my duty this year , sons mil is doing the ham , they're doing the roast and veg , two others doing desserts . .
Could be a very interesting Christmas dinner pac
What spices would be used in the beef?
I love potato stuffing
