Tough category, brilliant song choices though .
My favourite today would be @ShaneU .

My RL favourite cover song of all time has to be Disturbed -Sound Of Silence. The acapella version gives me goosebumps everytime.

It is one of the best ever X Factor or any talent reality show performances imho

I had forgot I had changed to Ruth as my previous submission didn't fit

Oh Mam, i know how popular that song is and i'm sure i'm in the minority here, but that song just doesn't do it for me.

Like I wish I liked it, because similar to what E.N said with the Tori Amos song earlier - "On paper it's perfect, Tori Amos is Disturbed are brilliant, the song is brilliant and the style could work but the arrangement seemed a little off to me"

idk, I just never took to it

Spears and Liz, it's time to FACE THE MUSIC

Over to the judges

SPEARS - When Doves Cry

LIZ - Ruth Lorenzo - Purple Rain

Wasn't too pushed on either. Gun to the head, sorry Liz, but I vote for you Sad
Time for my sob story

I entered this to make a change, bring brightness to my life, my budgie died, my mouse ran away and my dog got the neighbour's dog in trouble so had to step up and take responsibility move in there, my partner left me for our lovely horse called lacking beauty, apparently she was the better ride, he stole my veneers money as I wanted bright teeth like Rylan so keep me please to get my bright teeth
My two favourites of the round facing off against each other here, which is a shame...

Spears - When Doves Cry is my favourite Prince song, I've always liked Neil Finn, and I really like the simplicity and laid back vibe of the cover

Liz - Purple Rain is also a classic, this was a great performance and Ruth Lorenzo is really sound, and I have a personal connection there

So the question is, do I go for my favourite Prince song or stick with my Tequila Drinking Buddy?

It's a lose lose situation, and regretably...

I agree, that's a great one. Needs more support.

The viewing public at home should get out their phones and vote for you, one of the best performances of the competition.
