I know how these talent shows go. There always has to be some controversy..

My song is fabulous! I just know there's foul play here  Big Grin
On every Reality TV Judging Panel there are always two judges who will never see eye to eye... I'm guessing that's nothing and I on this show... pac

From a technical standpoint there was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't for me... Was at the very bottom of the rankings for me in this round... Hopefully your choice in the next category will win me over though...  Tongue

There were one or two of my subs that were only ok for me and I'll take any hits on those, but this round I loved the sassiness of the song  Tongue.

Actually my Miley submission wasn't one of my faves myself. But it done well enough in the game  Shy
My vote to go home is for Necro for inflicting the awkward wave of Brian McFadden on my unsuspecting eyes.
Sorry to see you go Necro, it just wasn't your week with this round, and you'll be missed in subsequent weeks. I look forward to seeing what you would've performed in later rounds but now won't have the opportunity.

As you said yourself, you thought you were a goner from Day 1, so you surpassed your expectations, and in a way its fitting that some of your fellow County-men were your downfall in this comórtas.
hahahahaha, I thought I was being clever selecting that version.
Initially I thought of a Kim Wilde live version but considered it a bit too obvious*, and this one came up on the YouTube search and found it nice enough to submit it.

*plus I do have a couple of such obvious selections coming up.
Going home tonight is @Necro thank you for playing, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

I would let you play us out but I think we've heard enough Westlife for one day!

Thanks everyone as always, see you all tomorrow
Todays top scorers were Aaron and Liz, well done both

Aaron

Liz

Sorry to lose you, Necro

I'm surprised my nomination was as popular, it was by far my least-favourite of all the songs I submitted

'Twas my 2nd fave of the round. Tears Of A Clown is a banger of a song anyway, and that's a solid cover.
I will be revealing the next themes in advance from now on, please don't say what songs you nominated until I post them tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are going 90s Classics

Maybe at the end @Kol we could see everyone's picks plus also what our illustrious judges would have picked themselves please

I posted Boos pick earlier, I will be going the same in each round.
Saved you a spot Necro...

I am nervous for this round as I think this one I had to change submissions as picks already taken

I get ya. I loved my first 90's submission, but the vid seemed too "studio version" and less live,  so I switched it out for something completely different (which -eek- will prolly be shown tomorrow)

Another great selection. I really liked the Chet Faker one @jp liz v1
First day that I voted for my song, I think Amos' performance is really emotional, top top notch.

Also I vote for Mam for the win. I saw this PSB tour live in Dublin and they were absolutely fantastic!!
Dammit, I love all of them! Going to be super tough to send someone home later!

That's the thing about this game , it's opened my eyes, or ears really to so many different versions of songs we knew . Some brilliant covers I'd never heard of .

PSB,  gotta love them , may or may not be jealous of you seeing them live !

You're the only one to love mine  Confused My three weakest entries all came in the first three rounds (which is probably a good thing) the next five are all top notch imo. Looks like I could be facing the music tonight, judges have mercy pac

Also the Alanis Morrissette song clearly not live?
Today was a bit hit and miss for me. I had a giggle at some of them. Must be my mood Tongue

@Wichita Lineman really like this song. gets better as the song goes on too. I'm adding  this to my own playlist.

I enjoyed @Necro's Backstreet boys submission. The girl is the tiniest little fire cracker that can hold her own.
And the band member to the left is tasty too*.

*& yes I do sometimes rate songs on the sexiness on band members  Big Grin
Also my song this round was my own favourite of all my submissions, I think it's brilliant  Shy

The girl do sooo many covers, and most of them I think are great

Shhhh ...

Yes I clearly don't know the different between live and just a cover, Big Grin. oops

I thought when I wasn't pulled up on it, that it was ok to go  Undecided

Yeah it is likely produced somewhat, you can judge the song arrangement. Don't speak is also just a vocal cover though I'm sure it is live.

hopefully everyone is okay with them, I was okay to let them pass.
They are all great, really like @DejaBoo I'm discovering new talent and versions
