Thanks and yes santa is more than ready.  He has plenty of people to spoil him. We've also made it clear that one present to cover his birthday and Christmas is unacceptable going forward  Big Grin

Congratulations Lorcan and Missus Lorcan  Smile Heart
Took a trip to the site today and brickwork flew up in the 2 weeks before Christmas, our row hasn't been started yet as it's phase 4 but phase one is nearly up now and phase 2 is half built with brickwork started on phase 3 so shouldn't be long before we start to see some progress on ours.

Our one is going to be in direct line of sight from the entrance so will be able to watch it go up over time, really exciting..

Couple of days left in this shitty year, then it's the year of the Trigs and Nitty @E.N. Big Grin

Can. Not. Wait!

The last few months have been a real struggle, but things will improve immeasurably once we get the house, it'll be great Smile

Hopefully yours won't take too long, Trig!
Only seeing your news now, @lorcand1990 Best of health and happiness to your new little bundle and his mam and dad.
I bought a kinder bueno and have managed to not eat it before dinner Big Grin

Obviously you are unwell

Might you have COVID ?  ( remember Paul Reid says if you think you have it then you probably do )

If you dont think that you have COVID then you may need to seek medical advice

You can be excused doing this  if :

(i) You are self isolating
or
(ii) Have managed to not forget to wear a mask
or
(iii) You buy another Kinder Bueno ...just because....
I somehow managed to lose half a pound over the festive season!
The bueno tasted good so I'm taking it as a sign I don't have Covid Wink

Unfortunately I am old enough to remember that song.  The 80s was a great decade for music, but it most definitely wasn't all good.
There's nothing better than going for a walk to stretch the legs and get some fresh air, then finding a nice, quiet bench to sit down and relax. Felt like I was watching the world from the outside without being part of it, great for clearing your head Smile

IHB I've got such a lovely mechanic  Shy

A salt of the earth guy that has so much time for me and my 101 questions.

Not happy to have a lighter bank balance, but it makes it easier to hand it over to someone that is so genuinely helpful..

My mother was driving her partner in to town for physio, when their car got a flat tire. Not only did the mechanic come out to them at the roadside, they also drove her partner to his physio appointment while the car was being worked on

Whatever price they charged, they earned it that day
