I have a busy few weeks coming, starting the new job, etc. so I wanted to be done and not stressing. I sucked it up and made decisions early, if I see something 'better' well there is always next year 🤣

Was that the Connolly to Maynooth one?
We were wondering about it this year, now we're in Maynooth, but decided our son is probably too young (2) to appreciate it this year. Might try next year
I've got friends on it next weekend, might see about heading down to the station to see the train and say a quick hello to them

It was grand, we were on the second train of the day but the steam train had an issue after the first run so they had to switch it to the diesel one, the carriage itself was from the 1960's and it probably ran smoother than the usual trains 😂
Our fella loves getting the train so it was a good day out for him, we got the train into Connolly first and then got the Santa one to maynooth, but instead of going back on it we just switched to the commuter and got off at coolmine where we were parked as himself was getting tired and herself is 32 weeks so needed a break 😂
Would definitely recommend though

My bestie swears by alternating the calpol and neurofen for kids, you can offset them by a few hours and then when they are very unwell they always at least one to keep the fever down etc.

We were staying out near Lake Bluff so a bit away from the city but there were some nice places to go around there & we went to some of the outlets too... I'd be happy to never tip for anything again though, when you pay with card the FIRST option most places give you is 20%, then 22% or 25%. Actually while I think of it paying by card is so different out there, most places you don't even need to put in your PIN

I lost a stone in 2022, delighted with myself. I have an old knee injury and the extra weight wasn't helping that, that was my main motivation. Now the weight is gone I need to get my leg muscles built up, then I want to get back to playing 5-a-side, haven't played since the covid shutdown, 3 years now 🙈
