Today, Benji liked….people working through the rules and roles and tryin to figure out what info we can glean from them. Marki Mark and Moe are the two I have as most involved in that legwork.
Today, Benji disliked…one post players whose posts made me feel icky. Micks post that felt like a repost of info others had already outlined and also was a bit negative straight off the bat as an example. Gave me a weird vibe. I think there should be positivity going into the game.
Today, Benji also disliked…Jacob’s sole post of the day being about how the wolfs are looking for the traitor who could be a recruit. One post and it being about a mechanic where the wolves need to find someone. Gives me the ick.
Not much else happening today. Hopefully Monday sees some stuff to work with before we have to vote someone out.

Wow … that’s impressive Benjy.
My only hmmm (I wouldn’t go so far as an ick) was Ina posting full on and then crickets yesterday.

I like this post as it is thinking through what the wolves would be likely to do, and also I don't think a wolf would point out that only the auto priest wolf would be likely to make that play.

True but depends how game pans out, if a wolf is under pressure it's a useful tool to have that could buy an extra day. Even if it just sows a seed of doubt for a vote.

Yeah, but that's what I meant. The post points out that it could be viable for the auto priest wolf, at least less risky. I think wolves would be more likely to want people to assume that it's not a viable strategy at all.

Oh yeah I get what you mean now.
Right my head is officially melted. Aside from just trying to get over the bias of the names from the Traitors game this all seems much more complicated. Initial vibe check... Friar Tuck seems genuinely helpful. Benji's flashy post seems a bit OTT... TBH if it comes out that there was some sort of kill in plain sight or task, I'll be picking over that lengthy post. The Countess copy and paste error feels a bit suss but could very well be genuine. Thanks also to Moe and Countess for helping with my questions. One other question, for the non-roled villagers... is the only thing we have to do is vote each night on who to banish? The roled villagers are essentially working independently?
Admin: Folks, we are aware of errors persisting on on the site and we are working to fix this.. Refreshing a couple of times should bring you back to the site again. Apologies.

Vincent a 1 post wonder check in with nothing else, Robin kinda similar with 2 posts but has said they will be more active today.
Mick also for that slightly negative 1st post, they did follow it up to me somewhat but still something I'm keeping in mind.

Rolled villagers are still villagers, so part of the team. They are independent of one another, they don't know who the other rolled villagers are.
At the moment the only actions non rolled villagers can do is vote. There may be prizes which grant temporary powers or abilities.
NRVs are very valuable. We are expendable so we can push and prod as much as we like to get info from others.
Just to say the copy and paste thing was a genuine glitch, there are no actions over the weekend, just posting.

Yea, the first post even outlines.
"(some role actions may take place prior to this on Monday only, no actions will take place on the Sunday)"
So the glitch is an utter non-runner as an arguement.
And now the mod note saying the game is "a go".
Morning all,
Just reading the OP and on the traitors piece:
"be on your toes as we have been informed that there is a traitor in our ranks. Try to take them down before the criminals find them"
I presume that the traitor knows that they're a traitor and if so, I think they'll be trying to send some sort of signal (may already have done so?) to the wolves to come and get them - worth keeping in mind when you're reading through posts.
The Aplha wolf Oscar "is hard to track down and even harder to kill" - I presume this means he peeks village and needs more than one shot to be killed. Anyone who survives an attack will need to be a policy lynch (although this may be tricky as only our vig will know who they took the shot on so they'll need to be wary about exposing themselves)

Oooh nice. I mean does a big Minion gif with a red alarm on top count as a signal? I'm being slightly tongue in cheek about that but also... could it be? So obvious it's not obvious? The only thing I had spotted on a readback was Countess's post where she mentions traitor loads of times but I feel like her explantion for it was more likely than it being a signal to the wolves. The minion gif however is something that could easily be a signal.
FWIW, I don't think we need to straight off lynch someone based off potential signalling but it's worth keeping in mind when / if there's a conversion announced

We need to remember Elijah too though "He will stop at nothing to block Officers from going about their business." If they have a vote block they might save a villager from the yeet so the vig will take them out the next day, this would keep the wolves safe for a day. I still think Elijah might have a role block though.

How is describing the usefulness of NRVs to a new player helpful to wolves? I genuinely don't understand the reasoning of this.
Regarding the traitor, I was presuming some kind of scenario were if a wolf dies a villager takes on their role as an apprentice. Not sure if that makes sense though. I'm not sure if I've played a game were there was a possibility of converting a certain player. Does anyone know of past games were this has happened? Not certain whether the traitor knows they are a traitor from the start or whether it is something they only learn if activated.

Sorry just walk me through that a second. If we lynch the alpha... would that not take them out of the game or is it that you think they have "two lives", so the lynch is one... we'd see they are still in the game, so the vig shoots to kill?
Simlilarly, if the wolves use a vote block to save a villager, it would look like they are saving their own so the vig would target them? Would it not be incredibly obvious that the wolves would use that tactic so therefore whomever they save is probably more likely than not, a villager (or the SK).
