The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Lieutenant Grey - 18-04-2026

“Alright, settle down everyone...

Don't worry, I've only been brought back in temporarily for this case. I've enlisted the help of Wesley Evers to help co-ordinate this Task Force. As you are aware over the last few weeks a number of break outs have occurred across various State Penitentiaries. The majority of prisoners have been located and subdued.

However there are still a number of these at large.

Officer Nolan, you will lead the task force and I will expect you to use all of your various skills to hunt these down. I've equipped your shop with the most modern facial recognition software to help you, shoot to kill if necessary but remember to protect your team first and foremost.

I've assigned Lopez, Bradford and Harper to the team.

Lopez will provide you cover with the long gun each day, unfortunately her nanny is sick and Wesley is here so she won't be able to provide this during the night.

But don't worry, each night Harper is taking on an undercover assignment and will try to infiltrate the various locations that we think they are hiding. She will keep tabs on various people until the time is right.

Bradford, you will provide support and protection to the team and the wider officers during this investigation. If anyone gets too close, step in and shut it down.

The team will be supported by many other Officers (NRV) from the Mid-Wilshire station and be on your toes as we have been informed that there is a traitor in our ranks. Try to take them down before the criminals find them

Okay so now we know your roles, Wesley will update us on just who is left out there.”

First up we have a man that will always be Alpha to you Officer Nolan!

Oscar Hutchinson

Oscar has been seen once since he escaped 2 weeks ago, holding up a Seven Eleven. We have a CCTV still here on the board and we believe he is the mastermind behind all of these Prison Breaks. We also believe he is behind the break in over in the North Hollywood station where Police uniforms were stolen and supplied to the escapee’s so they could be hiding in plain sight. Oscar though, is hard to track down and even harder to kill.

Next up is my own personal nemesis so please do your best to catch him.

Elijah Stone

Elijah, seen here in the last sighting of him leaving the Prison for a trip to the Hospital. He has gone to ground since escaping and we believe he has successfully made his way back to his Narcotics crew who are helping him move freely around LA. He will stop at nothing to block Officers from going about their business.

Monica Stevens

After recently double crossing the DA, her immunity agreement was withdrawn and she was sent to Prison, but through her extensive connections she somehow landed herself on Oscars escape list. She is influential throughout the crime world and has contacts all around the city. One of those we believe is within the Morgue. Monica it seems will be able to learn the identification of any of the fallen and will probably withhold that information from the rest until we can take her down.

There is one more who doesn't seem to be affiliated with the other 3, it looks like she has parted ways and gone on her own.

Rosalind Dyer

As we all know, Rosalind is a psychopathic serial killer who likes to play with her prey. We have intelligence coming in from our outside sources that she is planning a new spree, against our department. She also doesn't like sharing the limelight so expect her to target the Criminals also. Word on the streets is that she has built a new bunker where she will torture her victims thoughout the night.

That's everything, Good luck, and Stay Safe”

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Lieutenant Grey - 18-04-2026

Game Rules:

1) Once you are eliminated, do not post in the thread again. Absolutely no editing or deleting posts for any reason, once you make a post it cannot be changed. Eliminated players should also not thank active players posts, for obvious reasons. Once you are eliminated you will receive a PM with a link providing access to a safe space where you can discuss the game away from the view of the players as soon as Trigger can get to it.

2) Don’t cheat, it’s a game that relies heavily on the players having integrity. No PMing other players in the game. If you have any concerns about the game mechanics or the integrity of other players contact Trigger who will make a decision, if one is required to be made. Do not discuss any of this in game or elsewhere, and please don’t discuss any aspects of the game elsewhere on the site whilst the game is ongoing. Always remember, there may be secrets.

3) Please all try to reasonably contribute to the game thread and always remember to get a vote in (where it is possible for you to do so) as a minimum. 2 missed votes will result in a modkill. Arranging a substitution is not always possible unfortunately.

4) No posting of any PM's from the game mod. You may refer to the information contained within if you wish, but paraphrase, do not quote them verbatim.

5) Game starts with Saturday & Sunday considered as an extended Day 1, with the first Yeet/Lynch at 9.30pm Monday Evening (some role actions may take place prior to this on Monday only, no actions will take place on the Sunday). After 9.30pm Monday will be considered night 1. Set time for Munch is 10am & for Yeet/Lynch is 9.30pm. This game will operate an open night phase.

6) You will be provided with a voting code in your role PM. Do not share your vote form password to anyone else. All votes for the eliminations/yeets have to be made by yourself. Voting will be done via Google Yeeting forms with the link provided below. Players can vote as many times as they wish during the day with their last vote counting. In the event of a tied vote on an elimination/yeet, the yeeted player will be decided by last vote cast. Voting form link:
Lynch/Yeet Form

7) Policy on Abuse: Boards has a no-abuse rule in place that is in effect in this forum as well. By all means, call people on dodgy behaviour, point out if they are being silly or behaving strangely, be aggressive in your approach; but DO NOT abuse another player. If you feel another player has stepped over a line, the first step is to ask them to stop; if they do not, please PM a forum mod (Trigger) or use the report button on the post in question. Forum mods will investigate and action any issues at an appropriate time, keeping the game mods informed of any actions as needed.

8) Semi -Autopriest: This game runs with a Semi- autopriest. Figure it out.

9) Have fun, make memes, take the piss and try to enjoy the game. Be aware that there are new players having their first experience, don’t look in grey areas not covered by these rules for any advantages and try to make the game enjoyable for all. This is an anonymous game so please don’t post in the thread under your real Forumofgames identity if you can help it, and if you do please quote the post with your anon account so players can associate the post with the correct account.

NB: Not a rule but important, especially given the drop off of Forum Games the past few years. We have new players playing or perhaps watching this game, so please make them feel welcome in the forum by behaving respectfully with your fellow players. If anyone new is reading this, we have a glossary of terms and acronyms which I have linked here: Glossary of Terms & Roles, as well as the beginner’s guide, which is available to all within the werewolf sub forum. You can also PM Trigger for access to discuss the game away from the view of the players.

ALL PM'S HAVE BEEN ISSUED - GAME IS NOW LIVE (due to mods being busy this weekend Big Grin )

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Countess Markievicz - 18-04-2026

Evening fellow officers. I've left some bear claws in the Break room. L:ooking at the OP, 3 wolves, 3 rolled villagers and a serial killer (Rosalind) who strikes at night.

Monica is the wolf priest, and when we kill her her knowledge of dead roles will be known to the village.

Elijah, can block officers going about their business, is this a hint at a power of his?

Oscar is described as hard to kill and hard to track down, and the mention of the officer uniforms is making me wonder whether he peeks good?

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Dora the Explorer - 18-04-2026

Reporting for duty.

Just strange it’s so quiet. Still is. Picked up my phone there and thought there’d be loads of activity. I think maybe peeps think it’s really kicking off tomorrow- I had the start date 19th in my diary. Do we get paid overtime for being early?

Evening all. Have the game on here at the Inn if anyone is around. Job doesn't pay like it used to so have to moonlight!

4 rolled villagers isn't it?

Yes on Monica,  have played with semi auto priest before.

Elijah. Could be a few things really. Role block, vote tampering etc.

Oscar i would say peeks good from that.  'Harder to kill', wording on this makes me think they have 2 lives or something?

Howdy everyone. I'm Kevin. First time Werewolf player. Looking forward to it. Off to the Tipp v Cork match tomorrow so it'll be a quiet start from me but I'll get properly stuck in on Monday.

Thread is only open because mods are busy this weekend so they dont have to do it tomorrow. It's usually just a bit of hello and fluff on Saturday starts anyway.

Thanks, this was helpful. Question though. In the bad guy role descriptions, Monica "parted ways with the other 3" and Rosalind has her own win objectives. So does that mean the other two are the only ones working together in a backroom, with Monica and Rosalind operating independently? Is Rosalind the only one that can kill? So get her and then no more kills possible from the criminals?Nolan also can "shoot to kill". Is that like an insta banishment at any point in the day (like the Traitors game).

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Countess Markievicz - 19-04-2026

Hi Kevin. Rosalind is a serial killer, so they are a separate bad guy from the wolves. Technically everyone is against the serial killer as they can win the game themselves: see the win conditions

SK Win: Gain parity with both teams. So if one wolf and one villager and serial killer left then the serial killer wins.

The wolves will be trying to take out the serial killer for this reason too.

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Countess Markievicz - 19-04-2026

I think wrt Monica description of going her own way, that relates to the next person, Rosalind. So the 3 wolves are involved with one another, but despite escaping with Oscar's help, Rosalind is not affiliated with the wolves.

After recently double crossing the DA, her immunity agreement was withdrawn and she was sent to Prison, but through her extensive connections she somehow landed herself on Oscars escape list. She is influential throughout the crime world and has contacts all around the city. One of those we believe is within the Morgue. The wolves will be trying to take out the serial killer for this reason too.

And to answer another part of that, serial killer (sk) kills are seperate to wolf (bad team) kills. While sk and wolves are in play there will be 2 'bad' kills. A munch and a sk

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Benjamin the Alchemist - 19-04-2026

So it's 16 vs 3 vs 1?

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Countess Markievicz - 19-04-2026

Yep 16 vs 3 vs 1, but in some ways the village and serial killer are aligned.

The wolves are hidden so in order for serial killer to get to 1 vs 1 vs 1 and win, two wolves need to be killed. So finding and killing wolves is a priority for the serial killer.

The serial killer is a danger to wolves and village so both teams are hunting the SK.

Best scenario for the village is if wolves and serial killer both take each other out.

RE: The Rookie Werewolf - Game Thread - Jacob the Tailor - 19-04-2026

Morning all. There is also a traitor, which I guess the wolves get to pick a player each day, if they pick the traitor then they join them. Now I wonder does the SK also get the chance to recruit them and does the traitor know they are the traitor?

So it is potentially 15v4v1 or 15v3v2

I initially read the traitor as being the wolves, but you are right, it does read like they are separate from the wolves.  be on

Thanks for the explanations - I’m a first time werewolfer too but I’ve watched traitors on tv and played one traitors game on boards so hoping my head won’t be exploding to quite the same extent.
Just to clarify, does the SK role mean that in the mornings someone will have been murdered by the SK and someone will have been killed by the werewolves also? So 2 RIPs each day as well as the banishment/lynching?
For the total newbies … buckle up 😜😂

Sk is generally a stand alone role so I'd say its potentially 15 v 4 v 1. But knowing the mods i wouldn't rule anything out!

Generally speaking, yes.. sk and wolves could target the same player in theory so that would just be 1 kill

Welcome to werewolf 😀

Hi folks,

Dont know the theme at all. Op looks fairly interesting. An alpha and a wolf priest make this tough in my opinion. Potential conversion metric in play too

That's a very defeatist attitude, mick 😛

Here have a pint, might brighten you up

Seriously though,  again knowing the mods, if something seems weighted one way there's usually balancing in play to make it even. Probably no need to go any further into it than that
