Thoughts on players
Betty - a lot of fluff and character posts, also spotted something there too

Rhoda - a lot of fluff

Ina - village lean here, not afraid to get stuck in

Benjamin - neutral lean, is posting and seems to be trying figure it out

Pat - I didn't read their post as suggesting there was only one wolf, he jad actually said 'more than one'. Very defensive when called on it or when others said he was suspicious. Later said Vernon didn't want discussion of wolf numbers, that's not true either. Not sure what to make of Pat.

Edward - nothing to go on here

Prada - village lean here

Vernon - must be a newish player as asked what pocketing is. Village lean here.

Frank - fluff

Magda - called out Wendy for the back room reference and Wendy for AI, later said Vernon pocketed Wendy. Village lean here.

Wendy - made a big deal of Pat's post when he clearly said likely more than one wolf. Lot of reaction testing, FFAed Betty, Prada and Magda. #57 said Betty is a provable load but didn't really explain it when asked by Prada, Betty and Vernon, I still don't understand the "making up a narrative" bit. AI no sense. Called Magda a WOLF!!!! Asked Benjamin to explain RVS and pocketing in their own words - don't see the point of this. Wolf lean here.

William - more fluff, spreadsheets, suss of Pat.

Mick - couple of posts today, spotted autopriest only being mentioned for lynch, asked Wendy why she expected flips for flavour kills this morning.

16 players, so agree on 3/4 wolves.

Benjamin is posting? I was missing from the thread until today basically and I have more posts than them. They are not posting, their only contribution to date has been the discourse over use of AI. Also 7 posts is " a lot" of fluff? I would contend 7 isn't a lot.
As for Vernon, if you read their posts there is more than just the asking about pocketing. And they have admitted themselves that they have played elsewhere.
What have you spotted on Betty?
What have you added?

A lot of fluff refers to quality, not quantity.

Can you see anything suspicious in Benjamin's posts? I can't as yet and not all of us can post all day.

I'm not sure on Betty yet so I'll ignore that, why don't you ask the other person who said basically the same thing?

So you want a players 'last words' based on that? Dodge

You said you didn't have any last words, so what does it matter. Also, how is that dodge?

I know. I’d personally like to see everybody use their own words when explaining stuff to other players. It’s an important part of the game seeing if someone slips up in how they answer or phrase their post.

Copying and pasting parts of the OP being the exception.

(13-10-2025, 08:53 AM)Benjamin the Alchemist Wrote: Never heard the phrase random voting stage till the AI said it. First lynch can be a stab in the dark for sure but there will be players who put the work in and believe (rightly or wrongly) in their first vote. The wolf votes are never random as they will discuss them as a pack.

Pocketing in its correct form would be a wolf cosying up to a villager by agreeing with the villager in the hope that said villager sees them in a good light because they think the same way. Can only confirm someone was pocketing after they’re dead and their alignment revealed.

That’s my take on those phrases.

"Avoid character reveals", how does this work is a RV is up for lynch? If they can't reveal we could end up lynching them. Am I missing something here? Can they say they have a role?

On the bolded part Laura, you can simply say, I'm RV don't lynch me OR claim your role. Just don't say what character you are.

The problem with that is there is no way to counter it.. I would have thought that would be obvious.. like that means any wolf being lynched could say it 🤔

Apologies, I just had a godawful day at work so trying to parse a lot of info right now. Great that there's so much engagement but playing on the phone is just super difficult to get my head around everything. Will def come back with something resembling a conclusion soon.

If you're shooting Ben, I'd be interested in who you're peeking?

I mean generally a role has a power.
Seer peeks, vig shoots, etc etc.
If it's a latent ability then well yeah it becomes more complicated.

Speaking of, let's have a game of peek, shoot, protect.
Who would everyone's choice be at this stage?

For me:
Peek: Pat the Baker to finally put an end to the endless questioning of their opening post.
Shoot: Laura, their reads list is dodgy af.
Protect: Vincent, he has already lost one ear. Don't want anymore body parts flying around this early. I want to hear more from them.

Betty- still fluffy, lets see what they come back with later

Edward- sweet feck all to go on, under the radar

Not a fan of Laura's read list, bit too positive.

Still not getting much use from Williams posts either

Rhoda: very liitle to go on.. called out agressive wolfy play from ladies but then suspicious of betty, who isnt aggressive

Wendy- not really sure what they're up to with me. generally like reaction testing though!

Will probably park vern for the time being as they haven't played with us before

Don't worry Ben, nobody shooting you, the post above was meant to reference Pat, was reading your post while typing.

Honestly, Rhodas answer surprised me I was sure they were gonna mention me when they said aggressive. I'm tempted to vote there but then Betty comes back with a nothing burger response and more promises about thoughts later. 🤷🏻

It's right there in the OP..

Also one of them references a follow up post from the GM and there was no follow up post.... at least, not on here as far as I can see
As I say, I'll need to look back over the posts and see.
Sadly have a few World of Man issues to attend to today before I return to matters of Middle Earth

Did you find anything regarding the “follow up” paragraph of this quoted post?

Voting Vincent for missing the obvious "it's good to be ear" joke 😜😂
Definitely a missed opportunity on my part 😅

My own thoughts at the moment and hopefully this won't come off as too fluffy even though it could be argued a lot of what's gone in the last few pages could serve a pillow factory but I digress.

In terms of shoot peak protect

Shoot: Wendy - just something off about their style, feel it could be argued as reaction testing but could just be a noisy wolf trying to line up convenient lynchs.

Peek: Ina - I think they're playing well enough so worth checking their alignment. Other option would be Magda, also a high poster could be worth a look.

Protect - this I can't call, I don't trust anyone quite enough for that regardless. Maybe Ben? I don't know if the heat they've received is based on little more than poking and prodding over wolf numbers. Either way feels unproductive.

I'm currently planning on voting Wendy tonight.

Shoot - Frank, as I'd like to see him flip and would rather use the peak somewhere else.

Peak - Ina.. posts are absolutely melting my head and going one way then the other so far

Protect - at this point Wendy probably. Only real proper village lean I have
