This was simply untrue. They spoke of “wolves” in the plural, more than once. And to say one is merely guessing there are more wolves feels hollow. Guessing? Of course there are more. There was never going to be a lone wolf, such a thing would not make sense.
It reads as though you strain to seem blind to the truth of their number — yet I suspect you knew full well how many there are.
Christ on a bike I really do have to explain this again

I was saying there was 1 wolf name mentioned in the OP- Sauron.. Although from what others have said etc Sauron may not even be a wolf.. That is literally all I was saying, and that my guess is there are more than 1 wolf but we don't know cause it's not mentioned. I have no idea about Lord of the Rings so I was working from the original post & what was mentioned

I never never ever mentioned a lone wolf, or that there is just 1 wolf in this game. And you're only talking about this this wolves plural stuff from the OP now, after others have mentioned it probably over 24 hours ago

I'm not explaining this to anyone again, it's ridiculous
Sorry Pat. What's this all about?

This is quite unfair.
You asked them to answer the question you posed.

Then when they do you spout this dribble about christ cycling and answer stuff after 24hrs.

You specifically ASKED them to answer the question. If it was stale, why did you ask them to answer a stale question!

Woah calm down.

You're really huffing and puffing.
Nah sorry, you're questioning something that has been explained multiple times. So you're either not reading my posts, piggybacking on others from yesterday or you just need to throw a bit of shade around

Trying to say I was making out this game had 1 wolf total in it is total bs, and if you talk bs I'm calling it out

First thought based on this in the OP:
"Avoid character reveals", how does this work is a RV is up for lynch? If they can't reveal we could end up lynching them. Am I missing something here? Can they say they have a role?

Thoughts on players
Betty - a lot of fluff and character posts, also spotted something there too

Rhoda - a lot of fluff

Ina - village lean here, not afraid to get stuck in

Benjamin - neutral lean, is posting and seems to be trying figure it out

Pat - I didn't read their post as suggesting there was only one wolf, he jad actually said 'more than one'. Very defensive when called on it or when others said he was suspicious. Later said Vernon didn't want discussion of wolf numbers, that's not true either. Not sure what to make of Pat.

Edward - nothing to go on here

Prada - village lean here

Vernon - must be a newish player as asked what pocketing is. Village lean here.

Frank - fluff

Magda - called out Wendy for the back room reference and Wendy for AI, later said Vernon pocketed Wendy. Village lean here.

Wendy - made a big deal of Pat's post when he clearly said likely more than one wolf. Lot of reaction testing, FFAed Betty, Prada and Magda. #57 said Betty is a provable load but didn't really explain it when asked by Prada, Betty and Vernon, I still don't understand the "making up a narrative" bit. AI no sense. Called Magda a WOLF!!!! Asked Benjamin to explain RVS and pocketing in their own words - don't see the point of this. Wolf lean here.

William - more fluff, spreadsheets, suss of Pat.

Mick - couple of posts today, spotted autopriest only being mentioned for lynch, asked Wendy why she expected flips for flavour kills this morning.

16 players, so agree on 3/4 wolves.

Because the entire basis of their point against me was based on something that isn't true. That's why. I never said what they are accusing me of

I'm not leaving a baseless accusation out there

Few people have jumped on my very first post of the game, trying to make out I was saying there was just 1 wolf in the game. Vern brought it up again today in a slightly roundabout way so I wanted to see what their actualy accusation was

There is little to be gained in bickering over the number wolves. We can assume there are multiples. The most important thing is to stick together and do not allow them to divide us. There is strength in numbers.

@Laura the Lace Mistress in reply to your read on me there.. Vern did say they don't want us discussing wolf numbers. Right here

You know even through acronyms you really shouldn't swere.

I quoted you. I didnt make out anything. Those were your words. As I explained, saying you 'guessed' there was more than one seemed insincere. Of course there is more than one. It came across as trying too hard imo to appear clueless to wolfy things.

Later you said I tried to shut down discussion on wolf numbers. Untrue. A deflection I believe.

I'm done with this now. I can't listen to anymore of your howling.

Take the top 3 posters. There's a wolf somewhere in there, trying to lead the village but posting fluff.

There is usually a wolf or more in the low posters skating by doing nothing.

I'll be voting in the lowest 3 posters but not any non poster

Once again...

I was just pointing out that arguing about whether there's only one wolf seems a little pointless as we know that isn't likely at all. As I said 'We can assume there are multiples.'
So Im not exactly shutting down chat around wolf numbers.

Others (and indeed I myself) have spoken about wolf numbers many times. You're being completely insincere here again.

No, he said there's no point bickering over them, we can assume there's multiples. I guess it's how you interpret it, like how other have interpreted your post and think you stated there's only one wolf.

I think Vernon was just saying there's no point arguing over something we don't know. We're guessing 3/4 wolves based on numbers but only the wolves know for sure. Villagers bickering over something we can't prove gives somewhere for wolves to hide.

I think the lack of knowledge of exactly how many players there were threw everyone a bit last night.

Like, yeah we knew there definitely dummy accounts but nobody really knew how many were playing cos the sign ups were secret.

Couple that with this lot not even making 10 posts each as of the post count Wendy added just a few mins ago, and it's been a bit tough to get into this one, apart from explaining the lore etc. (which I have no trouble doing, it just doesn't advance the game state much).

I don’t see why there’s a bid deal being made out of Pat’s post tbh. I don’t see how saying “guessing more” aligns with being a wolf.

Benjamin is posting? I was missing from the thread until today basically and I have more posts than them. They are not posting, their only contribution to date has been the discourse over use of AI. Also 7 posts is " a lot" of fluff? I would contend 7 isn't a lot.
As for Vernon, if you read their posts there is more than just the asking about pocketing. And they have admitted themselves that they have played elsewhere.
What have you spotted on Betty?

Ah here, poor Pat.

There's nothing in that first post.

If you're going to lynch or shoot someone at least have a better reason than that post

In my opinion, the best thing to start talking about early on in the game are wolves. There really isn't anything else to discuss at that stage

And yet here we are, arguing about one wolf, when I wasn't even saying there was  Big Grin

It's not for their first post. It's for saying that Jesus was a cyclist.
That's just blasphemy!
