Oh yeah and the coke and hookers.

And you definitely needed that space modding AH or the Soccer forum, where else would the posters send all their abusive PM's 😂

There was a guy who used to re-register about 4 times a week purely to send myself and Beasty (had a set against us for some reason) abusive PMs. Then they'd close that account and do it again a couple of days later.

The bizarre thing is that iirc it was only a yellow card I gave them at the time and they sent me a torrent of abuse which earned them a siteban.

It was more amusing to me that someone cared that much about being told off on the internet they'd go to such lengths, some people really are nuts!

Can you imagine what Beasty's subfolders must be like? Piles and piles!

TBF, you can only hold 100 messages here, at least thats all I can, and unless you are working with a half dozen different topics there is really little need for them. You can always download the messages if needed.
As Soapy says, keep on top of everything as they come in and delete the fucker right away.

oops. 250 for FoGPD.

I've increased this to the standard 500 everybody else has.

I tend to steer clear of Walruses and all that because of a lack of knowledge** and interest in music but there are some oddities that I do like. I'd generally just listen to the news on the radio, or a podcast if I'm driving but I have sent in a song that is on an album that was released this year.

**Seriously, like I have no idea what is in the charts these days. I'd throw out answers like Ed Sheeran, Arianna Grande, Taylor Swift, Adele, even Justin Beiber but I wouldn't have a donkeys about any recent songs that they did. Looking through https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nu..._(Ireland) it took going back to March 2019 and Lewis Capaldis - Someone you Love and Lil Nas X - Old Town Road before I could honestly say ohhh I know that one.

Quick update. We are closed!

We've got 20 songs
I'll do 4 groups of 5, with a couple of days to listen and rank them
The top two from each group will then go through to head to head knock outs

So surlaw qualifiers followed by a Kol-style tournament, basically

I think I'll start on Jan 1, so the timetable would be...
Jan 1-2, group A
Jan 3-4, group B
Jan 5-6, group C
Jan 7-8, group D
Jan 9, quarter finals (A1 Vs B2, etc)
Jan 10, quarter finals
Jan 11, final

Sound good?
