Gonna throw out some Capaldi this time

Lewis Capaldi - Before you go

Perry Blake-This Life

Not sure I've ever thrown Gaz Brookfield up before - local Bristol lad who relentlessly plays the local pubs, gets support gigs, and plays every festival he can get into. Never known anyone work so hard and he's so good, but the music business isn't fair so he never really made it. I love him though. Here's a song about not really making it...

Limelight

Quote:He was the first independent musician to sell out Bristol's The Fleece (450 cap) and The Bierkeller (750 cap) - and, more recently, SWX (1000 cap).

With eight studio albums and seven live ones already under his belt, this fiercely independent musician continues to tour up and down the country. No manager, no record label, no agent - just a guitar, a van, and a steadfastly belligerent refusal to give in.
Rachel Stevens - Negotiate With Love

And, while I'm here, a little nudge towards the next full size walrus Wink
Mick Flannery - Get What You Give

Róisín Murphy - Overpowered

Cathy Davey - Little Red

Dermot Kennedy - Power Over Me

Tom Grennan

PJ Harvey - Down by the Water

John Martyn - Over The Hill

Jessie J - I Want Love

Dido - See the sun
another Dermo just to show off his sexy solid body  Heart

that song is fantastic!

adding that to my playlists
Is this still open? I've never participated in one of these before but I simply must throw my hat into the ring for this one:

I love this guy. He stopped making music in about 2014 to mind his kids. He's only recently broken up with his wife and made a new album. I'm torn about it because the album is really good but it's a bit distasteful that he gave up his relationship to make it.
Róisín Murphy tops the charts with Overpowered.

@Homer J. Fong to select our next category
