So much great music has come from Jamaica, or been influenced by Jamaican music. While personally I'm a big fan of ska music, on its own it might be a bit restrictive, so I'll expand it to anything Jamaican or Jamaican inspired - so ska, rocksteady, reggae, dub, even the UK 70s/80s ska revival and ska-punk are all good here. First up, the song that gave another band its name...
Prince Buster - Madness
Less Than Jake - The Science Of Selling Yourself Short
Grace Jones - I've Seen That Face Before
Harry J Allstars - Liquidator
I Shot The Sheriff - Bob Marley & The Wailers
That's a nice category @

I'll go for Rude Boy Rock by Lionrock
British band, but the song samples Nimrod (1965) by Jamaican reggae band Skatalites

I very nearly chose The Guns of Navarone by the Skatalites as my track. It's one of the all-time ska classics and I love it, but it might be a bit repetitive for people unfamiliar with it. I was amazed to find out a couple of months before the first lockdown that they were still touring at that time. That's a long career!

Wow! That's really something. I don't think I'd as far as to say I like it, but it definitely stood out!
Welcome back Arghus!
