Not much of a contest there as Phil Lynott - Old Town takes the win, which means its up to me to pick the new theme...

Cake - Short Skirt/Long Jacket would be the winner for me of these two.
Very quiet in here today... Don't think all the Walrus regulars have found their way to this part of the site yet in general though...
Extended the tie-break deadline to 7pm, hopefully one or two more people will appear in the early evening to declare a vote for either Cake or Yo La Tengo...

So this week, a song with a food or drink in the title.
Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar on Me
Watermelon Sugar
Couldn't stand this song when it first came out, but it's very catchy and pleasant when it's on the radio in the car
I'm still absolutely obsessed with this album
Arab Strap - Kebabylon
So join me on the streets of Kebabylon
We can find a story for the ages tonight
These empty filthy streets are where I belong
Always trying hard to outrun the light
Chicken Fried by The Zac Brown Band
The Pixies - Wild Honey Pie

This song always reminds me of being in my cousin's local in Toronto in 1988. It came on and he got up on the bar and did this weird dance, and seemingly this was a pretty normal occurrence because nobody batted an eyelid or told him to get down. He died in the most stupid way imaginable in 2005 (he'd agree himself it was ridiculous) but I can't help smile and think of him every time I hear this.

Sorry to hear that but you have a good memory
No messing about with tie-breaks this time around, as we have an outright winner in Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar On Me
