Welcome to The Fog Factor Series 3
14 Contestants will battle it out over the next few weeks to see which of you has the fog factor. Along the way we will all be voting for our favourites, though ultimately, our 3 person judging panel will have the final say on who goes home each week.

Each round of songs (week) will be themed.
I will post the songs and everyone is eligible to vote (thank) the songs you like. Yes, you can thank multiple songs. Judges, contestants, and viewers can vote
Votes will be counted when the voting closes and the 2 lowest players will FACE THE MUSIC.
Week 1 will be the freestyle theme, no one will leave this week though your votes will count towards ties in later weeks.
From week 2, our 3 judges will vote who they want to send home (each judge will post separately and give a reason if they like.)
When we get to the final 2 players, I will explain how the final will work.
I'm not finished voting, kol - Chromey is being temperamental with vids, will try to finish up after work.
An interesting mix in there, not all my cuppa but I've done some first listen votes, might try re-listen later and find some growers.

I just read the rules.
You're grand, this round is non-elemination, and if previous series are anything to go by these voters are fickle - you can be bottom of the pack one round and king of the hill the next.
Decent round overall, there weren't any songs that I disliked, but as always in a game like this I only thank the ones that really stood out for me...

Irish Aris had heard the track the couple of times I watched Dark, but hadn't listened to it outside of that, but really enjoyed it

Wichita Lineman probably my favourite Dua Lipa track, actually had the studio version submitted for the Disco Round later on, but gonna have to change that now or it will look like I'm copying you

ShaneU hahaha, nice. Was a big fan of Naked Camera back in the day and Jake Stevens singing Walk Of Life in Finderland is always the first thing I remember about that show, so cheered me up seeing that this morning
A few players have asked me via pm if they can change songs and the answer is yes. I will allow up to 3 changes per player.
You will need to get me the replacement song before the song you want to replace goes live. As a deadline gauge, I will be posting the rounds between 7am-8am each morning.
I'm not one for commenting on everyones songs but I'll vote for the ones I really liked and maybe mention a stand out. Todays highlight for me was @
Butty Brennan 's track from The Raconteurs which I really enjoyed.

My selection for this round is down to the fact that I am a huge fan of Einstürzende Neubauten, the band that Blixa Bargeld has been a singer for more than 40 years (some of you might remember him from the Bad Seeds in the 80's and 90's). Neubauten would have been too experimental (at least the songs that I had in mind) and I didn't want to alienate voters from week 1, so I went with A Quiet Life which is a bit more tranquil, but still has a great Blixa vocal. Initially recorded for the Italian film of the same name.
Tauriel and Irish Aris had the best songs of the round for me. The former would make a great wrestinlg theme song, which scores it bonus points
Given how well Dua Lipa's song has done, I could easily change to one of her actually good songs.
One of the best rap songs in history in the bin...might not bode well for some of my future entries lol
I must apologise that I won't be voting in this round as unfortunately my beloved madra is riddled with cancer and will be spending his final night home with us before we help on his way over the rainbow bridge 😭😭😭
