A good few active players and plenty of low posters (including myself so far)

As always wolves will have some active and less active players and I expect there's a wolf in the bottom somewhere and good chance the SK is there too as they've no friends to help them and need to stay relatively innocuous.

Out of the low scorers I don't particularly like the "vibe" of yet are: Jacob, Dora, Edward, Magda, Ina and Gordon. Problem is they can't all be bad actors .

Out of the other players I'd be suspicious of Boris, Vincent and Robin.

Sadly too wide a net yet but not much to really stake a claim on.
What in Inas 1 post and Magda and Gordon's 2 posts are pinging with you?

Just nothing posts with no insight or involvement other than posting for posting sake.

Why didn't you include your own post count in that table?

Wanted to include this from the off and give the tally before I jumped in, seemed better than posting thoughts, then the count so I'd appear in there.

Also question to players who've played with an SK before, can they murder each day generally including day 1 whenever they like or do they have to wait or earn their kill?

Game dependent I think. Some games sk can kill 1 per cycle, other it's at a set time or a night action.

From the OP it looks very much like a night action here, so I'd expect it to be announced with the munch tomorrow morning. Sk's usually don't have to earn a kill or task for it as it's a tough enough role as it is!

Because they were three lowest posters, someone not having good vibes with 1/2 posts is a bit of a stretch. Is there a wolf in the low posters, likely enough. I doubt theres more than one so throwing 6 or 7 low posters in there as not passing the vibe test is suspicious enough to me.

Picked the lowest 3 to see if you'd give any actual insight as to why

Fair enough, would like to see more from those posters before this evenings vote to be honest.

The number of nothing posters is very big at the moment. There are some others I'd be wary of from the mid-larged contributors but hey, don't want a target on my back just yet if I am right 😅

Games I’ve played before it’s been a night action so their kill announced same time in the morning as munch.

With wolf priest in play if there was only one death announced in the morning but there’d already been a lynch or vig shot, then I’d be inclined to think the SK was dead.

I feel like there are people defending other people on here for no good or real reason. e.g. There have been 2 posters defending CM. I am sure she is big and bold enough to defend herself. Why put yourself in the spotlight in that way?
I also don't think announcing oneself as a NRV is a particualrly good move anyway. If you are trying to move the wolves away from you, would they not just think you are "deliberately" saying that- like whoever said about the I am Spartacus. Or if they are a NRV then just shush about it, and don't give the wolves any help into narrowing down who the RVs are! The only ploy I can see for that would be to deflect suspicion off yourself that you are a wolf!

This whole "low posters are suss" thing. I mean I would say it as I am a low poster but sometimes we don't have anything sage to add. I certainly don't at the moment, so my posts will appear as "nothing" posts. THere are players on here that are far more capable or explaining game mechanisms and/or extrapolating them from the DMs initial post then I will ever be. Granted I have posted a bit above, but I don't have any real insight so early in the game- or ever really! LOL

I agree with Benji on Moe's copy and paste "mimicry" being a little odd. And as I said the defence of others when there is no need is odd for me too.

there is nothing odd about the copy/paste thing. its an issue with the website, and has happened me in prior games.

look at the thread - all the text is white on a black background.

look at when you type in a reply. black text on a white background.

what happens is you paste white text onto a white background and so it looks like there is nothing there.

@Robin the Jester and @Moe the Innkeeper I am referring to what Benji said about mimicry when I mentiond copy and paste. I will go back and quote what I meant.

I am not speaking about Countess' copy and paste issue (which I agree is a technical issue- but there are folks uneccisarily defending her on it; it is a technical issue- we all agree)

Sadly too wide a net yet but not much to really stake a claim on.

You really should go into a little detail apart from vibe because this post to me just looks like post for posting sake but trying to dress it up as been helpful.

Just my opinion but it's basically got you from a low post count to a mid post count and all you had to do was copy up a list and throw in a few names with nothing but vibe and reply to everyone that asked you about it with more nothing vibes.

Cause he was calling out low posters but hadn't actually post at all themselves. They copied it from the post count list so only posters show up. Now they are on ten posts in an hour's work.

No worries, Mick is my best customer  Tongue

And on the low poster thing, it can also be a quality vs quantity issue.. If someone only has a few posts but they are interacting, giving reads & opinions or some sort of gameplay conversation early on then fair enough. If they post something dodgy it can be picked up on. If someone by afternoon/evening on Monday only has 1/2 posts checking in and fluffing, it's a red flag to me. Then you get to Tuesday and they check in a few more times, say nothing & coast.

Case and point, right now. You mentioned me, allbeit accidentally & now we're interacting. It's how I play the game cause with the anon accounts I can find it hard to remember them all.

Today, Benji liked….people working through the rules and roles and tryin to figure out what info we can glean from them. Marki Mark and Moe are the two I have as most involved in that legwork.

Today, Benji disliked…one post players whose posts made me feel icky. Micks post that felt like a repost of info others had already outlined and also was a bit negative straight off the bat as an example. Gave me a weird vibe. I think there should be positivity going into the game.

Today, Benji also disliked…Jacob’s sole post of the day being about how the wolfs are looking for the traitor who could be a recruit. One post and it being about a mechanic where the wolves need to find someone. Gives me the ick.

Not much else happening today. Hopefully Monday sees some stuff to work with before we have to vote someone out.

friar, you posted this before benjamin posted his thoughts.

did you somehow know in advance he was going to post this?
No, it was the conversation at the time if you read back.

Reading back, this also piqued my interest that as a fellow one-post wonder I wasn't called out at the time but it's early days so I'm not putting much weight on it at the moment.

I'm not sure if there was enough in the one post I had to give any vibe and surely you couldn't have been calling out someone as being suss for having low post numbers in what was your first post.

Easy Moe, calling out low posters before game properly gets underway, if the thoughts are there is a wolf hiding in low posts numbers there easily could be a high posting wolf... and currently Moe is number 1 for posts.

WRT NRV issue. The wolves know who the other wolves are. Everyone not them is either NRV/RV/SK. NRV/RV/SK are all going to claim NRV status so me saying I'm an NRV doesn' give the wolves any new information, as they don't know whether I am telling the truth or not.

Furthermore if anyone genuinely thought my post was giving the wolves information why Streisand Effect it by referring to it repeatedly. Experienced posters, which Mick seems to be, know to note things to themselves and move on.

I'm not sure if there was enough in the one post I had to give any vibe and surely you couldn't have been calling out someone as being suss for having low post numbers in what was your first post.

True, and now at least some of the above have given a bit more. Dora's post comes across more genuine with a bit of thought to it for example. Getting reactions from people is about as much as can be done early doors. Until we have voting patterns to analyse or murders to reflect on we don't have a whole pile else.

Also as others haven't been in favour of the "vibe" comment its based on very little and I've seen many a poster glide by with quick checkins no analysis or interaction and garner little suspicion because they don't post.

Easy Moe, calling out low posters before game properly gets underway, if the thoughts are there is a wolf hiding in low posts numbers there easily could be a high posting wolf... and currently Moe is number 1 for posts.
Game is underway as soon as the thread is live, my post was this morning... Calling out low posters to get them posting is a hill I'm willing to die on, too many games a low lying wolf sneaks to the end.

At least you've given a read now I suppose!

Cause he was calling out low posters but hadn't actually post at all themselves. They copied it from the post count list so only posters show up. Now they are on ten posts in an hour's work.

I acknowledged in that first post that I too was a no poster so didn't bother to post then grab the list for some kind of clout.

I've found the post lists helpful before and other players have presented these in the past which I was most grateful for. So if you don't see any value that's fine but also if people aren't contributing then that can't be let slide either.

One observation that may mean nothing. Countess posted about reading Benjamin the Alchemist as Benjamin the Antichrist, Benji replied by saying they have Countess down as Marki Mark in their notes.

Will get a chance for a full read back later and gives my thoughts.
