They are bots that index the site for search engines, results etc, google/bing/twitter/Facebook etc all do this.

I use Mark Forum Read too. It's pretty handy when there are a good few new posts to remove the ones I've no interest in like Werewolf. It just leaves the ones I want to read highlighted.

I don't know why, but i was blind to it. I seen the button in the other theme, and said, thats a nice feature, but your pics where of the default forum, so i asked.
Just marked chain games forum as read, and see exactly what you are talking about,
I'll look into it.

Oh, one more request. Is it possible to have an "insert attachment to post as image"?

I'd imagine 99.9% of attachments are images, would be cool to make that a one click process

It is possible, its just a switch flick in admin console, so I have to suspect its that way for a reason? I'll bring up the subject and see what happens. If its an oversight, then i'll flick the switch.

While we're at it with images, can an image be pasted right in to a post - about the only good thing about nuBoards is that feature, so if it could be replicated that'd be cool.

No, from the PC. And I thought new fix was attaching a file image fix. I mean about pasting, eg, a snipped image straight in to a post.

Pasting probably won't work but if you save it to your PC, You can do that by adding it as an attachment on the post and clicking on insert into post. Saves having to upload to a image hosting site and pasting the link.

It's possible, but would require a whole new editor, not just modifying the current one.
I currently don't have the time to invest into testing out a whole new editor. maybe in a couple of months, if boards haven't got their act together yet, i'll see about adding a fully WYSIWYG editor, but only if it was a chioce in user control panel, as i hate the nuboards editor, you just don't have proper control over your posts anymore, like you can here, I always have 'view source' as default here and would hate that option to be gone.
