Betty got the last vote? So Ben gone

My spidey senses tell me traitor Betty did win a prize but it wasn’t an alignment peek but a double vote at banishment.

There could have been a dagger in the armoury which would have given someone a double vote.

Thats not how ties work in this game, as per the rules on page 1.

8) In the event of a tie at the Banishment Phase, there will be 1 round of re-voting. If there is still a tie the player banished will be selected by fate.

Betty def needs to be booted out tomorrow. I will lay out a few thoughts before I finish up as there's a 1/3 chance I won't be here for breakfast.

@Betty the Beggar is my prime suspect based in sudden appearance during the task and now thus weird jump on benji which shows her to be untrustworthy.

@Rhoda the Spinster the earlier "I'll give my thoughts later" message is classic wolf behaviour to buy time.

@Boris the Fool something just off about Boris and also being one to want to vote out the few in the murder pool. I know others have defended this stance but it doesn't work for me.

All of the above could be complete crap in the long run but just in case I'm murdered later this is where I'm at.
Was busy yesterday and I was up to my eyeballs in work today so hadn't time to look at the thread. Lorc mesaged to ask if I was playing, so I posted to show I was. As soon as I had a chance I interacted with the game.

If Betty was a Traitor and did win the prize - she picks two faithfuls and declares on thread to try gain village credit. She has a choice between Zeena and Benji to save herself and goes Benji as she knows he will be a faithful even though it looked like this would have brought us to a tie. If she went for Zeena she would still have been saved but was she worried about Zeena flipping red?

Surely she doesn't need to if it's between me and Ben? It could have been either of us, and neither flips red so it does make her look super suss.

So 10 players won.

3 claimed prizes.

Is there a traitor in the other 7 who won a double vote prize and kept it quiet!?

There's likely more than one traitor in the last 3 Benji voters if Zeena is a traitor.

Yeah it's a game mechanic in the Traitors. Also not the first time it's been mentioned in the thread.

Some kind of vote manipulation if count is correct. Either a Zeena vote was blocked or someone who voted for Benjamin got two votes. Other alternative is that Zeena was immune from banishment, but I don't think that is a thing in Traitors.

The OP has a mechanism for a tie so its not that.To the person who asked about me coming on, I set an alarm for 9.20 to give me time to read the thread and vote. I was always going to vote late as my name was in the mixer, that's just common sense.

Im struggling to understand why people would think I wouldn't vote for Benji given a straight choice between him and Zeena. Benji gives twice the information. Again, that's just common sense to go for him.
For the people saying i HAVE to go, I won a prize, announced it on thread when asked and voted to get the most information. I'm not sure what else you'd have me do?

The other two prizes were corroborated because they had immediate ramifications. If an unknown prize caused this voting result then not all prizes are notified.

Is there a possibility someone's vote wasn't counted? Too early or too late or not in the right format?

Unless it's mine? I misspelled Zeena as Xena. Just cause they ALWAYS come up with weird and wonderful spellings in the show. But I think it was very clear who I was voting for.

Cross referencing that with the Benji voters might be a start, unless a traitor voted elsewhere and used a second vote to boot Benji?

Betty: Vincent, Chris, Benji, Ina
Vincent: Donald
Ben: Laura, Dora, Tuck, Boris, Magda, Betty
Zeena: Prada, Gordon, MacDonald, William, Rhoda, Amy
Amy: Maeve, Countess
William: Weyland
Maeve: Pat
Dora: Zeena

The armoury and who they voted for:
Benjamin the Alchemist - Betty
Ina May the Midwife - Betty
Prada the Seamstress - Zeena
Friar Tuck - Ben
Laura the Lace Mistress - Ben
McDonald the Farmer - Zeena
Betty the Beggar - Ben
Pat the Baker - Maeve
Vincent the Artist - Betty
William the Graverobber - Zeena

My thoughts are either Betty got 2 votes and jumped on Ben to save Zeena, or my vote didn't count due to the misspelling. I'm more inclined to go with the first though.

Not really, by morning one will be gone for certain and that'll leave only 3. It'd suit the Traitors to have attention focused on us. Plus interesting the few who seem keen to dash the Murder pool on the rocks.

@Boris the Fool it was actually @Donald the Spoofer meant to tag in the other post as my other suspect for being a traitor.

Folks I think we are clutching at straws to suggest there were spoiled votes due to mispelling

A double vote, for anyone who has watched the tv show, is the most plausible

I hope the prize format stays the same tomorrow. That way we’ll know who the top ten are and that we have an insta ban, a save from murder and (probably) a dagger double vote.

You might have to kill one of your own tomorrow, traitors, if you win that prize, for thread cred. Whoever wins the ban one please will you consult with thread tomorrow?
