McDonald saving himself makes sense too. I'd do the same.

Benjamin is the only player so far who I have an inkling of a suspicion on. Mostly based on his comment to William, over William 'not getting the 5th word in the task' being suss.

Vincent and Gordon are two players I'm feeling more confident are faithfuls.

Day 1 though, so it's based on minimal info.

Game question. What is an "alignment". It's been mentioned a few times.

the timing of betty is suspicious to me. means she was following the thread but hadnt posted.

also saying she typed a post but forgot to hit reply.....do people actually do that?

i'm leaning betty for above reason

@Dora the Explorer did you say you're a newb?

How do we vote again? Link or DM Lorc?
I'm heading out so I'll need to set an alarm or I'll forget.

Im the 5th. Kevin is dead and McDonald is off the list so between the remaining three of us.

You need to post you vote on thread between 8.30 and 9.30 - if you can’t do this you can PM to Lorcan beforehand and he will post it.

I had Ben but they are new

I feel we can learn more from those on the murder list and alignment

Can only speak for myself but I didn't have to declare my banish and I had the day to decide. Not sure if the others were time restricted, although it's funny why they aren't been questioned about them holding off their decision.

I can see why William admitted his kill on thread and it gives me a village lean on him but I don’t think it was a good target - I can’t see a play where the traitors put a non posting traitor on the kill list as just the act of putting a non poster on the list raised our suspicions.

I wonder if the list is like the secret traitor in the latest version of the UK show, the only thing is the secret traitor knew who the other traitors were so still can see them putting Kev as a traitor on the list.

but kev flipped faithful

Exactly! My point was that the odds of him being a Traitor was very slim

I had the day to muse it over.
Prob could of held off for a bit then. Even if you werent gonna talk about it in game it would of given yourself a chance to read people. Saying if Kevin had to arrive in game this afternoon and take part.

My logic is quite simple.
This is a game that requires people to post and to be involved. It makes the game more interesting. Having played many variations of these games there is only one thing that genuinely annoys me. The non or low poster.
I understand that things come up IRL but it's a game that requires interaction. If a wolf wins by deceiving others and gameplay then I tip my hat to them. Yes it can be considered a strategy but coasting through to victory is a cop out in my eyes.

It’s also a game where we need to find the Traitors and wasting a kill on a non poster that will likely be mod killed isn’t right. I’d understand it more if you went for a low poster.

From the non murder pool I'd be leaning Xeena, as not getting much from their posts. I don't have much of a problem with Williiams teh Grave Robbers choice of Kevin to autobanish, as that is a crapshoot at this point, and it did narrow the murder pool. I do take issue with picking no posters to vote for as that is a wasted vote and gives no useful information.

Low poster vs non poster on a murder list. I weighed it up, made my decision. Trigger happy, maybe, even with all the posts on thread since though, my decision would be the same right now.

This is interesting then. If I was a traitor and won a prize, I would be inclined to keep schtum as it only draws attention to you. Of course I cant speak for everyone. The McDonald prize is interesting in that if he were a traitor, he could pick someone else and make them look suss.

Really? Where?
I think I am the only one to have mentioned you. And that was a very feeble attempt at trying to get some posting going apart from hi. I also wouldn't class it as having a go. It was a play on the opening post which said look to the right and left. And the mention of Macdonald was for the OP mention of people smelling.

Itll tell you I'm a faithful and Benji/Betty will still be unknown quantities. There's a chance I'll be murdered tonight if not Amy or Pat. Betty could be lying as well and that seems more worth exploring,

Also I've submitted my vote via Lorc as it's unlikely I'll make the official voting window.

Countess is new so off the voting table tonight but to wrongly reference two different posters as throwing shade their way smacks of disinterest. I know sometimes I get an idea in my head and then look back and realise it was a different player, or I misinterpreted what was said at the time, but to go back to clarify and then get it wrong again is weird. Could be a confusion between spinster and seamstress but again, it is not someone doing their best to be accurate which is worrying.

SLIGHTLY SUSS - Boris the fool - ignored direct question of would he accept if traitors sent him an invite. Didn’t interact with the questioner at all. Very quiet and when I mentioned them they genied the thread

SUSPICIOUS - Zeena warrior princess - posting absolutely nothing of substance and I can’t put my finger on it but I don’t like their tone.

LEANING NEUTRAL WITH A SLIGHT WHIFF OF TRAITOR - Laura the lace mistress - there’s just a lot of nothing in their posts.

Zeena. Being on holiday is all well and good, but if low posters are someone's hatred in the game, this style of play is mine. Seagulls in, causes a bit of chaos and swoops back out again.

Lilly. 1 non post so far.

Macdonald. Mostly from yesterday's posts. Something felt a bit off, in particular the Lilly post. I also think there's usually a wolf in the top few posters.

I don't think we should focus on the 5, I am firmly of the opinion we look outside of them for banishment.

I had already mentioned Benji so not much explanation needed there. I felt Vincy was driving the thread so he felt like the natural second pick.

Some of the theories on here are nuts, that Benji would be in trouble so id ride in with a made up prize to save him?
There's some people driving the narrative about my timing but I've given my explanation, I cant do much more.
I'll be voting Vincent because he resolves the most questions. If the theory of there being a traitor in the famous five then IMO it has to be him because we know his alignment matches Benji. Interestingly both are voting for me, which is convenient.

His vote at the moment is going on another no poster, its a lazy wasted vote and gives the village nothing.

The only positive in all of that was he owned up immediately to killing Kevin. He's taking the path of least resistance, if someone voted for two no posters two nights in a row we'd all have a problem with it. He's effectively done that with the kill and the intended vote on Frank.

Is it too wolfy to be a wolf? Possibly

Did @William the Grave Robber say that he had to pick someone to banish there and then? If so then his choice was valid enough if he had no one else to go on. If he could of talked about it then yeh maybe it wasn't the best choice.
I think he said he had to pick by tonite or lose it. Personally id have waited but its an individual choice

Of course I cant speak for everyone. The McDonald prize is interesting in that if he were a traitor, he could pick someone else and make them look suss.

I think I will be voting Vincent tonight, his flip coupd tell us a lot

Itll tell you I'm a faithful and Benji/Betty will still be unknown quantities. There's a chance I'll be murdered tonight if not Amy or Pat. Betty could be lying as well and that seems more worth exploring,

Also I've submitted my vote via Lorc as it's unlikely I'll make the official voting window.
Betty could be a traitor and know that the two of you are faithful and are therefore aligned.

Betty could be a traitor and one of you/Benji is too. The plan was to murder whichever of you is faithful and use that to clear the other named in the alignment result. It could even have been used to set up a conversion later and both you and Benji are currently faithful.

All 3 of you could be traitors and are setting up a bus.

All 3 of you are faithful and have been brought under suspicion.

The instaban, McDonald's prize and Betty's alignment check were unknown variables that have reduced the murder pool so we've no idea if that has left one or two traitors exposed in that group of 3, or if it has played into their hands and left 3 faithful under suspicion, 4 if we include Betty. It's a bit of a head melt.

You now know vincents alignment, which if you didn't already, means you are both now good.

not confirmed good, but most likely good, from everybody elses pov
That's not true Gordon. there's plenty to be resolved between Betty, Benjamin and Vincent.
Yes all 3 could be good but just as easily any of the two could be traitors or Betty could be a traitor alone.

Or are we just accepting Betty is faithful and that the two players she did pick for not much reason are faithful too?
for tonights round table, i am , yeah

I know sometimes I get an idea in my head and then look back and realise it was a different player, or I misinterpreted what was said at the time, but to go back to clarify and then get it wrong again is weird. Could be a confusion between spinster and seamstress but again, it is not someone doing their best to be accurate which is worrying.
Could also be a noob trying to get their head around the game. It's not easy in your first game.
