Had to insta banish someone, had to be used today.

I wanted to keep it in the pool of 5, 4 once McDonald removed themselves. Chose Kevin as they hadn't posted and wanted to check why a non poster was chosen.

Could you not confer with everyone here who to pick? Seems strange that you would do it without mentioning you have the power first. You did own up to it though, I guess you could have said nothing so that make you look good
Why confer? I have no clue who is faithful or traitor. There's not going to be group consensus this early. Not much info to go on.

Hey was working this morning so only catching up.

Kevin being faithful makes the insta banish feel more like a safe play, it removes a quiet player but doesn’t really give us any info.

@McDonald the Farmer  using his power on himself makes sense.

@Betty the Beggar showing up around the task has been covered and seems to check out, so probably not much in that now.

@Benjamin the Alchemist  getting mentioned a couple of times now too it would be good to hear where he’s actually at.
Whats Benjamin being mentioned about? Any thoughts of your own on this?

Not sure how Betty checks out, tbf she didnt have to reveal she had a prize but she's hardly clear based on the timings

That was Betty. She is being a bigger spoofer than you right now!

Dunno where Dora’s head is at saying Betty’s story makes sense.

Why would you say there's not much in it? If anything, it seems to me like one of the few items of interest so far

Mainly just that the timing side of it seems to line up based on what McDonald and yourself pointed out she was active with the answers before posting so it doesn’t feel like a ‘jumping in for prizes’ anymore.

For what it’s worth I’m not ruling it out but it just feels like it checks out more than it did initially.”

My thought process is more that when the task was announced with possible prizes, it is probable that a fellow traitor of Betty's would have highlighted the task in a private chat/group which led to her sudden arrival on thread. That's why I'm lining up towards Betty later.

Also would agree that if she has two peaks she's better off sharing them, could be a spoof though if she's a traitor and would know everyone's alignment regardless.

Is it not odd though that she hadn't posted at all in the thread before submitting her competition entry?

It seems like a coincidence that she just happened to turn up shortly after the competition was announced, submit her answers, then make an opening post and then 7 mins later say that she entered the comp

Plenty time for reactions.
10 prizes won and only what, 3 declared!
Looking at the pool of winners who have done nothing is a worthy conversation topic too

According to Lorc prizes were randomised amongst the winning entries. I got nothing.

As in I'm pretty sure there weren't 10 prizes, but less across the group randomly.

I don't see any weight in the suspicion against Betty over the timing of her posts. Feels like pulling on a thread due to lack of other threads.

McDonald saving himself makes sense too. I'd do the same.

Benjamin is the only player so far who I have an inkling of a suspicion on. Mostly based on his comment to William, over William 'not getting the 5th word in the task' being suss.

Vincent and Gordon are two players I'm feeling more confident are faithfuls.

Day 1 though, so it's based on minimal info.

Game question. What is an "alignment". It's been mentioned a few times.

The first thing I did was read through the posts, see the task, do the task, and then post.

I didn't win anything either as someone who was in the 10 entries.

Sorry just seen this now reading back again.

Benjamin name was brought up a few times my opinion of him is more the way he’s been posting so far there's a few ideas but nothing comitimg just kind of floating between things and causing confusion. It was what I felt in my catchup.

On Betty, I’m not clearing her — just felt the timing side of it looked less suspicious once it was broken down.

@Vincent the Artist this is reply to you too. Initially when I did my read I was purely thinking she had explained the timing aspect of it but I didn't take into account(or realise) she hadn't post in group before hand. So on that end yeah I would agree it does look sus.

The timing of my first post with the prizes is a coincidence, I wouldn't read too much into it. I actually thought i had put in an hello earlier before I read the thread but obviously didn't hit post

Quote “I sent my answers at 11.20, then came back and saw I needed to post here.”

11.20 quiz answers submitted
11.26 you posted about Boris’s posts being forced.
11.33 declares in thread that quiz answers submitted
11.35 quotes your own 11.26 post saying you obviously meant benji not Boris.

Why would it be obvious you meant benji not Boris?
why doesn’t your quote above align with what you actually did?

You're getting way too caught up on the timings and reading things into it.I came on, saw the quiz, did it. Read the thread, posted my thoughts, reread what I had missed while typing, spotted I should have been posting on thread to validate the entry.
Thats it, if you want to lynch me over that, fair enough.

Since Benji seems to be getting some heat and I have thoughts on it.... Benji and Vincy are aligned. My opinion is they are most likely both village but if someone had a peek it would be a good starting point, either knock out two wolves or start a village gang

They would of known Kevin was faithful and a low poster so it just throws in a bit of confusion. In the end it Prob worked because he was banished straight away.

What 3 prizes were confirmed? The instabanish, the alignment, and what else? Sorry I'm struggling for time to read everything atm and the thread is moving fast.
McDonald the Farmer won a prize to remove himself from the murder list

McDonald saving himself makes sense too. I'd do the same.

Benjamin is the only player so far who I have an inkling of a suspicion on. Mostly based on his comment to William, over William 'not getting the 5th word in the task' being suss.

Vincent and Gordon are two players I'm feeling more confident are faithfuls.

Day 1 though, so it's based on minimal info.

Game question. What is an "alignment". It's been mentioned a few times.

traitor alligned
or
faithful alligned.

hope that helps
I Read it as being told if two players had the same alignment, rather than their actual alignment.

Think alignment regardless is just are they faithful or traitor but Betty said she had a power from the earlier task to allow her check the alignment of two players. She said myself and Ben are aligned the same.

if somebody is faithful aligned, they are faithful.

if somebody is aligned with somebody else, then they share the same alignment (either both faithful, or both traitors)

your alignment is which side you are on.

Betty wasn't given that info, just that Benjamin and Vincent have the same alignment.

The Traitors are probably less likely to murder Vincent now as his reveal will either clear or implicated Benji. So, "Pat the Baker", it's between you and I for murder.

Seems more likely that he was killed by a faithful anyway - the traitors would hardly knock off a non-posting faithful

Why would the traitors pit a non poster in their 5 picks in the first place though?
My running hypothesis is that there's a no show traitor. Doesn't really make a lot of sense to me though

I suspect they either picked before it was clear who was active/inactive or was going to be used for a softlaunch/flavourkill until they were instabanished.

This is also very good insight and hadn't considered it myself. Still would assume we're all at risk as it doesn't necessarily hurt the Traitors to off me, confirming one villager wouldn't turn the tide a whole pile 🫤

Not that I want to be murdered mind!!!
