The thing I can't shake right now is Laura's defense is very wolf like. If I was in her shoes and as a villager I would probably just say ok, resolve me and move on to the others, I will take one for the village (different players play it differently of course and we do encourage villagers to fight for themselves in these cases)
I still think she is all over the place defending herself and it just doesn't look like a village player to me. If nothing else materializes before lynch I can't see who I would move on to
Pat was obsessed with me too, if he liked it he should have put a ring on it.

@William the Grave Robber read from here. Note my fake typo regarding Mary Poppins a few posts later, I was trying to signal to Laura I'd got the hint

Dunno about the 7 stuff, doesn't seem to fit. The first paragraph I can see coming from an RV though

The villagers gathered, believing they had pierced the veil of deceit and, setting their sights upon the fiend in their midst, the one named Benjamin the Alchemist, they set forth with stout hearts and sharper steel.

As they drew near his dwelling, the villain was espied at his very door, his eyes turning to meet the righteous anger of the Fellowship. Yet, even as they cried his name and raised their weapons for the just execution, a most unnatural thing occurred. Benjamin's hand did swiftly dive into a pocket and, in the very next moment, he disappeared from view!

The search was thorough and desperate, yet no sign of the rogue remained. The village was scoured, yet  yielded naught but silence.

Benjamin, the Accused, has escaped!

The village felt the heat of anger and confusion, but also something more. A cold, unseen presence, like the gaze of the Lidless Eye, is now felt by all!

In the darkening twilight, Pippin fled the shadowed paths of the village. He plunged into the heart of the forest, where ancient, gnarled boughs offered a meagre curtain against the eyes that sought him. His breath caught in his throat, a silence outwardly kept, yet within his mind, a thousand unheard screams echoed.

The Shadow's force was a sickening pressure, a cold, cloying hand that seemed to reach from the East, seeking him out. The evil lure of the Ring clawed at his spirit, whispering promises of power and dark dominion, a siren song sung by the very depths of Mordor. With every fibre of his being, he fought against the encroaching darkness, a small, lone light battling the void. At last, gathering every remaining shred of his mental fortitude, a will honed by the very hardship of his quest, he wrenched the accursed thing from his finger. The Ring fell, a dull, insignificant clatter upon the mossy ground, and Pippin sank beside it, utterly spent, a feather dropped by the wind.

When his senses returned, his thoughts assembled into a grim truth. A rot that had taken root within his own company. He knew, with a certainty that chilled him to the bone, that the Fellowship had been broken, tainted by a creeping evil in their ranks.

"They are lost to me now," he muttered, his voice a dry rasp against the silence. The dream of a united company marching to the end of all things had crumbled like ancient stone. There was only one path remaining, one dreadful purpose. Standing, small yet resolute beneath the vast, indifferent trees, he set his gaze not upon companions, but upon the distant, smoking mountain. He vowed then, to the silent, watchful woods, that he would complete the perilous journey to Mount Doom alone, a solitary, desperate spark against the coming night...

And there, coiled upon Sam's lifeless breast, was the heavy, plain band of ill-fated gold: The One Ring.

A chilling wave of despair washed him. He had prayed this day would never dawn, yet now the terrible truth stood before him. The burden was now his.

With a trembling hand, he unclasped the broken chain and felt the cold weight of the world's peril settle into his own palm. He took the Ring.

Never mind. I found it.
I have never known Hobbits to be so impertinent, even when they might be right.

Mount Doom loomed before him, a festering wound against the bruised sky, its summit wreathed in the noxious fumes of its fiery heart. The One Ring, a burning weight in his pocket, pulsed with a malevolent warmth, its whispers a siren song in his mind.

He had come so far, endured so much, driven by a hope that now felt as fragile as spun glass. He was the last hope. He had to be. He climbed.

As he reached the precipice of the Cracks of Doom, the heat radiating from the molten heart of the mountain was infernal. The chasm yawned before him, a maw of fire. He fumbled in his pocket, his hand trembling as it closed around the cold, smooth band of gold.

The Ring. So small, yet so terrible. He raised it, intending to cast it into the fire, to end the nightmare. But the whispers became a roar, a chorus of ancient evil and irresistible longing. He saw himself, crowned and mighty, leading armies, dispelling shadows, saving Middle-earth. All he had to do was embrace the power.

His hand, instead of releasing the Ring, brought it slowly, almost reverently, towards his finger. He knew, dimly, that this was wrong, a betrayal of everything he stood for. But the desire was overwhelming, a tide that swept away all reason.

The Ring slid onto his finger with a chilling ease.

In that instant the air seemed to crackle and burn and Pippin found himself in the Wraithworld. The Eye of Sauron felt his presence and locked its gaze upon him, he was transfixed, as if he had grown roots into the very mountainside. All the armies of the darkness were summoned and cascaded upon him, tearing his earthly body apart. In his dying moment he felt the ring being removed and knew its fate

Benjamin the Alchemist was Pippin Took, a foolish Hobbit. Luck saved him once but, ultimately, he succumbed to the power of the ring.

With his passing, the line of ring bearers is extinguished, Sauron holds the One Ring and evil reigns across Middle Earth

Wolves win
