This is why I have unknown prizes, known prizes handed out are a nice replacement to powers but unknow prizes that may be given to wolves are just too complicated

Post 55 on the roundtable thread yesterday from countess, it was called out by a couple of people because it was looking to get prize info out on thread

I can see why it was called out & looking back it seems like a traitor post.. But is it too traitory to be a traitor? If this is a play by countess it's a very bold one

It was because my prize is only useful for village - being able to identify whether there was a traitor voting the banished person is useless for traitors, so I was thinking the shield might be alignment indicative - what use would a traitor have for a shield? Probably just letting my PIS show.

I didn't pick up on the "May or may not have occurred' bit. That's very odd,but 2 shields in one night seems off and no one else has claimed they won one.

It was because my prize is only useful for village - being able to identify whether there was a traitor voting the banished person is useless for traitors, so I was thinking the shield might be alignment indicative - what use would a traitor have for a shield? Probably just letting my PIS show.

If there is only one shield, it informs them that nobody else is shielded.

I'm conflicted on that, it would be a handy way for a wolf to get through a couple of days as 3 villagers are sent packing but there's a huge risk there if not believed. If we knew there were 3 traitors I'd say it was worth taking the chance, but if there's 2 it would be crazy.

I mentioned earlier that I thought multiple shields were won, that was before I knew about countess claim that she won a prize also. If her claim is real then it is quite plausible that only 1 shield was won

Lets assume for a minute that both prize claims are correct, they are both village related (unless the shield protects banishment?) I think the there may have been different prizes for a traitor if they had have won a prize. I'm not really sure what kind of prize would benefit a traitor in this game though with no roles as such

Well I said I won and used a shield on myself last night and someone was attacked and shielded last night, no one else has claimed to have won a shield.

It is weird, but i'd make xena a 100% villager for tonight, immune from tonight's banishment. I'd also like to banish countess, we need to resolve whether to trust her prize, and only a host reveal will be able to confirm that for us.
It's the best of all worlds, if they were lying, we banish a traitor.
If they were telling the truth, well, we now 100% have a traitor in ed/friar/dora, where as if we were to go thru them and find out she was lying we'd be turn 4 before we banish a traitor.

Catching up, things standing out so far.

Edward immediately suggesting a conversion screams Traitor trying to sow the idea of a third, if there are currently 2. Seemed to come out of nowhere. Add that to him choosing to go on lilly last night and not me - Traitor knows both Lilly and I are Faithful, but also knows there's suspicion on me, easier to hide with me still in the game, tried to claim mechanics etc. Very traitorous behaviour today, as called out by several people.

Zeena told us all yesterday that she had a shield. Making a couple of assumptions - there was at least 1 Traitor on Team 2, there was more than 1 prize given last night but the Traitors assumed only 1 prize and they won 1 themselves, they'd have thought Zeena was lying and attempted to murder there. Alternatively, they took Zeena at her word, and weren't expecting any other prizes to be given (as per the show, mostly 1 shield only) and attempted to murder elsewhere in Team 2.

I don't think there was an option to give the shield to anyone else, or a choice on when to use it, but Necro may have tweaked things from the show for playability.

Countess, that's an interesting prize, if indeed it was a prize. If you're telling the truth, I don't believe it indicates alignment. A Traitor can bus another Traitor to gain credibility. If you're lying, then you're definitely a Traitor. Either way, it doesn't clear you imo.

Yes, I believe so, but with the tied vote and just three players voting Lilly, I thought it was the best time to use it.
