Traitors Werewolf

12 people have been taken to a secluded mansion in the Hills of Donegal where they will compete starting this Sunday to catch the Traitors in their midst.

The Traitors are cunning and masters of deception and will stop at nothing to murder their way to victory.

But murdering will only get them so far as this new era of Werewolf descends upon Forum of Games, once the Final Banishment phase begins they will need to have their wits about them and their alliances strong.
Will the Faithful find these scheming conniving Traitors and oust them from the castle forever more? Or will the Traitors control the proceedings, murder and plotting their way to victory…?
Game Rules:
1) Once you are killed/banished do not post in the thread again. Editing posts is a strict no-no in Werewolf. Please remember this and also... DEAD PLAYERS DO NOT THANK LIVING PLAYERS POSTS
2) Don’t cheat, it’s a game that relies heavily on the players having integrity. No PMing other players in the game, and no chat about the game outside of this game thread. If you have any concerns about the game mechanics or the integrity of other players contact Necro who will make a decision. Do not discuss any of this in game or elsewhere. Always remember the mods may have secrets, though there are no hidden roles in this game. If you wish to discuss the game as a spectator, PM Necro for the discord link.
3) Please all try to reasonably contribute to the game thread and always remember to get a vote in as a minimum. There is no post minimum. Players will have to deal with non-posters themselves at the Round Table….
4) Round Table Discussion: Instead of the atypical ‘Lynch’ that occurs in Werewolf, this is now replaced with Banishment. At 6pm each evening starting from Monday the Round Table Discussion thread will open and players can openly discuss in this thread who they wish to Banish. The voting takes place ON THREAD between 9 and 10pm, after which the player with the most votes will be banished and have their alignment revealed. After the player’s alignment is revealed The Witching Hour will be upon us and the game thread will close until the following morning. If you are not available for the voting hour, you can PM Necro with a proxy vote which will then be announced on thread for you.
5) The Witching Hour – In ordinary Werewolf the Traitors or Wolves have 24/7 access to a separate off thread discussion room. In this game – they will need to go it alone with the exception of the Witching Hour – where they can meet and discuss their murderous intentions. They retain access to this thread until the morning announcements are completed. Murders will cease at the announcement of the Final Banishment stage (further information on this will be announced when Necro decides it’s necessary).
6) No posting of any PM's from the game mod or referring or alluding to the content of them.
7) The game will start with a soft launch on Sunday. The thread will be opened in the morning once PMs have been distributed and remain open until 10pm Sunday evening. Morning Announcements will take place between 10 and 10.30am each morning after which the thread will reopen and players can post again.
8) In the event of a tie at the Banishment Phase, the player banished will be selected at random.
9) Daily competitions will run on Monday and Tuesday where players will be split into random teams. A prize or prizes will be on offer for the winners. Further information to follow in the morning announcements regarding this.
10) Policy on Abuse: By all means, call people on dodgy behaviour, point out if they are being silly or behaving strangely, be aggressive in your approach; but DO NOT abuse another player. If you feel another player has stepped over a line, the first step is to ask them to stop; if they do not, please PM a forum admin (listed in the staff section of the site) or use the report button on the post in question. Admins will investigate and action any issues at an appropriate time, keeping the game mods informed of any actions as needed.
11) Have fun, make memes, take the piss and try to enjoy the game. Having fun is the aim!!
12) Win conditions: The game ends when the players unanimously vote to do so. If the remaining players are all Faithful then the Faithful win. If there is a single Traitor remaining when the game is ended by the players, the Traitors win. What do either side win? Necro’s respect, I guess.
