There is no reason for a villager to lie. So if you didn't believe them about the prize then the only reasonable outcome is to think they're a wolf.
I believe they won a prize and that they used it, I've never disputed that? I just can't know definitively that it was what they claimed. Of course Countess could be a wolf, but you were my strongest lean.
I agree that if Friar believed my claim, you were a poor choice of target for his claimed power. I guess the power itself seems very weak, I mean with no power roles in the game, the only hope is to catch the murder, but even then watching the victim gives no info whatsoever, and we don’t even know if the traitor kill is a team kill or needs to be performed by a single player.
I mean if you don't believe that they used the prize they claimed then what reason have they for lying about it? If you can come up with a good one I'll be shocked.

It's between us tonight. I'd imagine they're sitting back and looking at us very closely. It gives the other wolf/s the perfect cover to lay low too.

Potentially weak but could be used to see whether the person who claimed a shield still has their shield or if they used it. That's really only a benefit if the wolves won the trip wire prize. Outside of that you could catch the murderer if you're lucky. But in my mind it is more likely that it was a either a made up prize or a prize won by wolves that was used to track someone else but thought it would be a good idea to try to pin it on me.

Remember earlier in the game it was suggested that Countess might be a wolf too, and Edward and I both said that if there was a wolf in the 3 Lilly voters and that Countess was a wolf too that would mean there's 3 wolves?
So let's say you and Countess are a wolf team, you flip wolf and Countess looks less suspicious and there's an unknown wolf in the background, that makes it easier for the wolves to win. Wolves can tactically bus another wolf. If only one of you is a wolf it's you, that's why I uses my prize on you.

Does it really give wolves perfect cover? At least one other person here knows that you are lying. At some point they'll have to vote for me and come up with a reason for it. I'm intrigued to see how they go about that because then they'll be complicit in the lie too. Once your teammate, or teammates, vote for me then they'll be suspected in the coming days. If there are three of you then you just need to convince two to vote for me and then the three of you can come in and drop the hammer. This is where I like the lack of backroom communication because if your mates vote too soon and the village believes me then the game is almost over because they'll have outed themselves. If there are only two of you then it's three others you have to convince before dropping the hammer.

Do your teammates wait and bus you? Oh this will actually be interesting to watch. They won't want to be seen waiting to see which way it all goes and then only vote for you late because then it looks like they only voted for you to help hide. So they probably won't want to vote too late but too early and it could be the whole traitor team voting for me.

Yes I remember that, I was the one who first pushed it after the claim I believe. My question was what good reason could they have for lying and your response talked about Countess being a wolf. If countess is a villager what good reason is there for lying about the prize? Because if you think they're lying about that the only logical conclusion is that they are a wolf.

If I was a wolf in a group of 3 and one was up to be banished I'd probably vote for them for village cred. It's the safest play. Now, obviously you can choose not to and claim you would have so the only verifiable info from all of this is how we flip.

Would you in this scenario because winning the vote pretty much wins the game with a wolf team of three? I mean it would be a pretty good move for them both to bus their teammate early to try to gain cred and win with 2 wolves left. So other wolf/wolves, are you going to bus Friar or will you try to banish me?

I don't think any other wolf/s will answer. Remaining players will analyse the votes and see if they can learn anything from it.
I wasn't expecting them to, I was just wondering aloud. I'd find it funny if they did though. I'd get a kick out of that.

You'd get a kick out of the wolves winning?
Good grief, I'd get a kick out of the wolves answering my question on thread.

Oh! Yes, if they lost the run of themselves and answered it would be hilarious.

Thanks for the tag @jp liz v1 but I couldn't play those werewolf games. I have no idea what anyone is talking about in them.
I might have a nosey though if it's not restricted viewing.

(I haven't looked at that site in a long time. There's a few accounts I miss over there)
