Absolutely shocked by this, can't believe it, only 50, what a fantastic drummer he was, when joined he took the foo fighters to another level kinda like how dave did with nirvana when he joined them. RIP taylor.

Haven't had a chance to sit down and check out the new album yet, but Metric are indeed class - been a constant in my music libraries for the past 12 years or so.
Nice to hear that Surlaw paid off and discoveries were actually made from it...

Was able to sit down and listen to it properly for the first time yesterday... possibly their best album to date...
Just announced that they'll be touring the new album and playing The Academy on January 28th (tickets on sale Friday)... Whoop!
