Share what are you listening to  -  a song, a podcast,  a show?

I heard this on TV and thought @Wichita Lineman would enjoy this version (the harmonies!)... they said the song reminded them of their hardworking father  (loved that)...

Their official song release: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=karlt9_1suE

It was like artillery being fired here a few minutes ago.  I don't know what they were using, but I've never heard fireworks as loud before.

I'm one of those awful people that has to admit that I love fireworks. . Where we used to live , they were always going off , whether it was Halloween or not . The dog used to just get into her bed and go asleep.

Back on topic, I mix and match podcasts when I'm in the car, currently listening to

Fake Doctors real friends, which is an episode by episode run through of Scrubs with Zac Braff and Donald Faison. They go wildly off topic and just have the craic on air and it is very enjoyable

Crime Junkie, true crime podcast, they are very good storytellers.

Red Collar, more true crime - when white collar criminals kill

Armoured - a series about armoured truck robberies

Music - Pearl Jam, lots and lots of Pearl Jam.. usually throw on my liked songs also which is hundreds, or throw on some Spotify select, néw music playlists

Early morning I like sticking on youtube playlists of radio sessions, KEXP Seattle is a favourite, the Radio 1 Live Lounge can be good. Currently I'm on Australia's Triple J radio, "Like A Version" is their live covers. This is the best of them, I think, Gordi covering Linkin Park's In The End...

I noticed the Fake Doctors one recently but wasn't sure how a show by show recap would work. I loved Scrubs but don't remember that much. Glad to hear it goes off on tangents, will check it out Smile

These days it's mainly audiobooks I listen to tbh, listening to The Undead Series by RR Hayworth at the moment. Crude and wildly overblown but weirdly addictive.

Music wise a bit of everything, usually use my liked song playlist like Trigs on Spotify which grows every day lol

If I'm in the car and not listening to music or an audiobook Newstalk is my channel of choice most of the time.

Not mad into podcasts really.

Yeah it's very good. They have a lot of guest stars on it etc and they bring on a fan each episode to ask them a few questions. Episodes are long enough for a podcast but well worth it

Listening to too many podcasts, mainly history.

I have Newstalk on the radio but I'm getting tired of Pat Kenny's obsession with antigen tests, it kind of makes you miss his smugness laughing at Trump's twit of the day back when he was the US president.
I'd switch to BBC6, but jaysus they can be so up their own arses playing the "lattest coolest indie music". They make the foxes in the back of my house sound like a chorus of angels  Rolleyes

I listen to a lot of random radio documentaries on both the BBC and RTE. They have excellent archives to browse through.

I've also been enjoying listening to a lot of these lately................

I'm listening to an audiobook on Borrowbox. It is Blame it on Bianca Del Rio, written and read by Bianca Del Rio.
Bianca is my favourite drag race winner, and I've seen her show a few times. However, I'm not loving the style of this book. It's basically in the style of an agony aunt column with Bianca giving her no holes barred cheeky responses.
