I was going to say 45 for the Band Aid question and second guessed myself! I think I was way off for all of them anyway. Big Grin

That was super though; fair dues all for solid scoring, all things considered! And nothing for being solider than the rest.

In true quiz style, I'm going to give myself a mark for the one I had right and changed (the Russian/Polish artist), so I was fourth really :p

Sorry CDEB that was just a typo in the reveal and to be fair I'm surprised it's the only one. So far.

Congrats nothing, that was a superb performance!

Thanks Wichy, great questions and reveal. A huge amount of research went into that and a lot of work collating the answers and scores. So ... When's the next one? Big Grin

Congrats to Nothing - it was the Specialist round that sealed the deal for you, although your General Knowledge was really good too. Well done to the joint seconds and joint thirds, and hard luck - you were very close. Hard luck to the joint spooners - the Specialist round did the real damage.

Well done Mr. Lineman - a lot of work went into this, and it was was well hosted.

Congratulations Nothing, very well deserved - a perfect specialist subject round followed by a great general knowledge round, that was a deadly combination Smile

Thanks for the game Wichie, a truly Herculean task running this game, well done

You deserve a medal for putting all that together Wichey, thanks for a great game. And congratulations nothing, anyone who gets the only perfect score of the game really deserves to be the winner.

Is Maroon and purple not the same?

I guess though if they were called Purple 5 they wouldn't have been as successful!

Congrats @nothing superb scoring and to the guys on the podium.

Thanks for the game @Wichita Linemanreally enjoyed that.

Sorry Kol, I did expect a little quibble on this but I've never heard Westmeaths colours being described as purple in the same way I've never heard Cork's red called pink.  Big Grin

Also if Prince had a song called Maroon Rain would it have worked out as well? Maybe Spielberg should do a remake and call it the Color Maroon.  Big Grin

Purple v Maroon

I have to say I was impressed with the standard of answering because I have no problem in saying it was a tough quiz. I set a lot of quizzes for family, friends and even externally and i know a lot of them would have struggled with many of these.

But, it was based on Mastermind and thats a tough quiz. Winning scores on the show would often be around what @nothing got - 17pts so we have a worthy champion and it wasnt a runaway either.

Thank you all for taking part and for picking interesting and challenging topics which although it was a bit of work for me I really enjoyed.

Well played @nothing, some fine scoring there!

Congrats to @DejaBoo and @Zaph too

Thanks Wichi, some undertaking there!

Happy with my scoring, but wasn't good enough. Glad you just copied in my answers rather than the rambling essays I gave you each time. The deepest tube station was annoying, I said it was probably where it went under a hill but then totally forgot about Hamstead Heath, should have got that

Haven't looked through everyone else's general knowledge questions yet, will do that later

just catching up, I’ve only got as far as my score but I’ve a couple of corrections. Horan has definitely managed them to six, I see wiki has five but he was there for 11,12,13 & 14 and 20 &21. And Cora’s team arr the greater western giants.

im sure it’ll make no difference, right? Right??

Well done Nothing, that was a serious performance in the specialist round. Reading some of the other general knowledge rounds I feel mine were quite easy in comparison.

Great quiz, some serious work gone into the questions, I felt mine were very fair at least

The Greater Western Sydney Football Club, nicknamed the Giants, - you just said Giants. That could have been the New York Giants  Big Grin

You are correct on the James Horan, it gives the total as 5 but lists out 6 years and i missed that. You would have 15. Does not affect the podium.
