It's from On her majesty's secret service, played during the movie, the opening credits have an instrumental piece. Probably considered the movies secondary theme. While the movie itself was pretty good, the Bond actor wasn't.
Interestingly, this song is also played in the latest movie, No time to die, partially during the movie and in full over the closing credits.
I primarily associate that song with On Her Majesty's Secret Service, but also as Louis Armstrong's "second" song (What A Wonderful World being the first). I did not think it was a great Bond movie, but I agree with you about the actor - George Lazenby. I thought it was curious that the song was reused again in No Time to Die.
