The wolf with the auto priest power is best placed for this play otherwise it’s suicide for another wolf to play it like that. 

Our best outcome is to kill the auto priest wolf as early as possible especially considering the alpha wolf is hard to kill

The wolves won't want us to know the identity of dead players though so probably won't claim as we're in the dark as long as the wolf priest stays in the game.

But them claiming doesn’t affect whether we know who has died or not. We only find that out when the wolf priest dies and up until then we need to be wary of any role claims in case there is any risk taking wolves
