If they claim a dead player was a certain role they out themselves as a wolf so they won't reveal.

They have the advantage of knowing whether or not roled villagers are still in the game but they're not going to reveal as they'd be the next yeeted or offed by the SK of they're still in the game. We'll all know if the SK dies because their kills will stop.

Its not that the wolves would come out and reveal a role of the dead, its that they could claim a dead players role as their own.  So say wolves munch Nolan, then wolves I presume are told Nolan is dead. Then a wolf claims to be Nolan afterwards 

As lilly said though its a risky wolf move

Ah, you're right, too much mead.

I could see a ballsy wolf trying that if the numbers were in their favour though.
