Bob's Burgers is class! Deceptively so, takes a while to realise it's much deeper than it seems
Staying on the obvious side, Brooklyn 99 is brilliant, especially from series 2 to about 6ish
I also rewatched Black Books on All4 recently, I love that
I've only seen the first season thus far, but if I recall correctly, Abbott Elementary doesn't hit it's stride until about the midway point (which would've been episode 7 or 8), but then again its not gonna be everyone's cup of tea, so maybe just wasn't for you, which is fair
Bob's Burgers is up there as one of the best comedies of all-time for me at this stage (season 1 and 2 were a bit rough around the edges though), but I know what you mean about it taking time for you to realise its genius. Louise used to be my favourite character on the show, and I still think she's amazing, but I've grown to appreciate Tina the most
Agree about Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Black Books too
Superstore is another one I forgot to mention in the previous post, its incredible once it gets going, but again takes a bit to hit its stride
