Sorry Kol, I did expect a little quibble on this but I've never heard Westmeaths colours being described as purple in the same way I've never heard Cork's red called pink. 
Also if Prince had a song called Maroon Rain would it have worked out as well? Maybe Spielberg should do a remake and call it the Color Maroon.
