Just back in time to submit my task response - phew! Had to look up a few answers, if Google wasn't allowed I'd be scuppered.

I'm finding it very interesting that both @Laura the Lace Mistress and @Dora the Explorer have queried me about not being present in the game or dipping in and out but now are doing the same themselves. Is it real or a tactic to avoid discussions and putting their heads above the parapet? I suppose we will see later when they resume posting.

Sorry, I've a big work day today so I won't be quite as engaged as I was yesterday.

I'll try to trace back through this Prada thread later but my first instinct is to trust Betty's instinct on her (for obvious reasons).

I'm currently still a bit stuck on Friar (no change in reasons).

I'm also trying to look at where I haven't been looking, which is at the people I find quite helpful. With that in mind, McDonald... you come across as a really good faithful, you do your research, you aren't afraid to point a finger. I'm just wondering if it's possible you're a traitor trying to steer the pack or overwhelm the conversation with information. That is literally all I have on you because otherwise I think you come across as a good faithful.

So first, specifically on me - I really don’t think that’s true - the genie thing. One time I realised that we’d gone from 2 pages to 7 so I started with the most recent posts where there was one about little old me and I replied and then went back to catch up properly. Other than that maybe you could cite some cases?
Second, even if it was true … why would that be significant? If you’re thinking that traitors would be giving each other heads up when they’re getting mentions you’d still have to be checking into see the warning.
third it really isn’t easy to go back and find everything that anyone just said so I think as a courtesy to other voters it’s better to repeat your reasons. especially if we’re trying to persuade each other.

Seems to be a lot of theories flying around already, not sure how much we can take out of anything yet.
Boris is the only one who stood out, his interaction felt a bit forced. Not saying there’s anything in it yet, but it’s probably the only thing that felt slightly off so far.
Otherwise I’d be wary of overreading things this early, most of this is just people filling space

You know what, I agree with this so much. I'm trying another read back, and there is just something weird about the Boris interaction. Not sitting right at all with me either.

I would agree, if Prada flips red, last night's vote is the best place to look

No idea where me on the same team as Prada came from. I read the post to Maeve and it convinced me they killed Maeve. 

You posited the Magda/Maeve backroom idea with Pat and I thought it made sense. I was wrong. I didn't vote for Pat, as I thought and still do think that they were the most likely candidate for Maeve kill.

If we banish Betty and she flips faithful, it clears Vincent but gives us nothing on Laura; if she flips traitor, it gives us Laura but nothing on Vincent

If we banish Laura and she flips faithful, it clears Betty and Vincent; if she flips traitor, it gives us Betty but nothing on Vincent

If we banish Vincent and he flips faithful, it gives us nothing; if he flips traitor, it gives us Betty & Laura

Personally, I see Vincent as likely faithful so I'd leave him

I see Betty as likely traitor (based on her very first action in the game being entering the comp and also her "self-pres" (but not actually self-pres) vote on Ben last night) so that's where I had been planning to vote

I hadn't really noticed Laura much but based on the logic above, it would make more sense to banish her as a proxy for Betty since that provides more information. Her making this play now though would be very high risk considering she had been receiving no heat and Betty was/is at high risk of banishment. I'll need to think about this a but more and maybe review Laura's previous posts

Could everyone at some point today give their thoughts on Maeve's murder in plain sight.

There must have an interaction between Maeve and a traitor to trigger her death OR some code somewhere that pointed to her.

It's the only concrete lead we have towards traitors.

Does a traitor give her vote immediately as a bus? Voted at 8.43, Prada didn't look to be in any bother at that stage and never really was, so its a reasonable theory.
Prada was hiding off thread, she made no post between 8.30 and 9.30 other than a vote at 9.29.
She said it was a self-pres vote but she only had one vote up to that point, so that argument is nonsense.

She was waiting to see who she would vote for in case she needed to save a buddy, just need to figure out who she would have been trying to save. At the time it felt like Boris was getting more heat than his one vote would tell. 
If Prada pushes back that others were also waiting until late to vote, thats true but Gordon and I were on thread announcing we were keeping our powder dry

I’ve missed myself voting Boris on my last post.

One the first days banishment where there was definite vote manipulation there was clearly a 3 way race between Zeena, Ben and Betty. If we believe that Betty is a faithful then it was a 3 way race of faithfuls.

I think one of the winners of a prize caused vote manipulation of Ben which could be Laura or Friar. I also think a traitor would be in a smaller voting pool which is Countess, Weyland or Donald.

Prada has to be first out though.

I'm also looking at Laura now, she tried to focus attention on me for non-posting yesterday but was she just diverting attention from herself? She was in the armoury on day one and also voted for Ben that night whose vote we know was probably manipulated in some way. Then day two she won a seer check which is useless to a traitor so making that one public to reinforce being ''faithful" made sense

You are right, I did vote until very late. Because my name I was being thrown around all day, and I knew you were voting for me. There were a few people who didn't vote til late, you, Gordon, Donald. It is the exact definition of a self pres vote. That's it. No big conspiracy. As I said previously, you only know your own alignment in the game. Nothing else.

I don’t know whether the Countess and Prada are distancing themselves from each other seeing as Prada is on the ropes. But on the read back I’m doing now where the countess accused William, then Rhoda but it was Prada who should have been accused first, I’m questioning how they could be on a team.

They keep mixing up me and Prada. I'm not certain whether genuine confusion, a ploy or a little bit of both, eg. leaning into it once it happened a few times.
Not a fan of the defensive attitude, but I've seen it more in non wolves than wolves.

They are not a priority for me for the moment. 
I can't see how anyone other than Prada is the killer of Maeve.
I'm also very interested that William was focused on Pat and never Prada for the killer, and basically declined to answer this morning when asked directly about the possible killer. I don't see any reason to do that.

Easy answer to this Rhoda. It's not that I was not interested in Prada, it's that I thought the Pat post was a better avenue to go down. You obviously thought similar because you posted similar after.

Split here between Gordon and Dora. Gordon telling Mcdonald to stop spamming the thread earlier doesnt sit right still.

I think the Maeve theories are relatively weak sauce.

Boris i forgot was playing until he got a vote, a lot of low posters skating through

I have spent most of the morning, searching all sorts of terms trying to look for a task in relation to Maeve. Primary reason for searching was I was getting some questions for an innocent question I posed to Magda. The mod clarification made it go away but I agree with Prada that the post in question is a bit simple.

I found nothing else however, the only real interaction is with Prada within a timeline that would make sense.

On reviewing that sequence, I also copped we had a tie vote on night one with likely some vote manipulation. The below are the remaining living players who went into the armoury

Prada on here too, I believe Betty got her alignment check on the back of Lauras peek. Laura immediately claimed her prize yesterday.

I didn’t post much at all last night as players complained about me spamming so this one couldn’t have got lost in my noise.

You were the very first to vote last night and you only posted Vote Boris. Why would you open the voting system with that when we had spent pages and pages about the 3 people who we thought murdered in plain sight? Makes no sense to me and doesn't look like you were supporting the team in trying to find who murdered in plain sight. Was it to create confusion?

I thought I found one more who didn't hate me. But Chris seems to hate @McDonald the Farmer so might bring some bad vibes to the party. What to do?

It may just be me but @Betty the Beggar your last two posts are black text on dark grey and very difficult to read. It doesn't appear to be happening on anyone else's posts, @lorcand1990 maybe you can advise if ther eis something one of us needs to change?
