My other nomination was Tate McRae, it became a bit of an earworm for me this year and featured in many of my playlists. If it goes out against Jessie Ware though, I wouldn't be mad in the slightest, that vote was a tough call for me

I think what might have happened with that song- it was mixed in with a Group of fun upbeat songs, so it may have gotten overlooked.
Myself, I tried to listen to it 3 separate times & just couldn't focus on it, & never got to listen to it fully.

Mimi Webb vs The Big Moon - liked the Big Moon song but funny enough, didn't like the chorus part. I'll probably be sick of the Mimi song in a few weeks but for now I like it. I hear it in work most days & it's a nice toe tapper to hear in the backround.

I do get the lyrics. What I meant was that the delivery isn't emotional enough, not raw enough. Ultimately, when I hear them deliver those lines I don't believe they mean them, I don't feel it. So it falls flat, for me
