Having looked at my nominations, I could hazard a guess as to the identity of the one that everyone nominated! As it happens, I heard the suspected song today on the radio!

So got a bit of time today and have prepared the first batch of qualifying matches, will post them now. I don't know how consistent I will be with this at least until next week. We will also see how many people play and how long we keep the voting open.

Disclaimer: I haven't screened all the nominations, I'm relying on those who sent them to have checked they are valid. I know a few will be controversial, some maybe credited as the artists first international release and I have allowed it. Some songs maybe credit as a band release rather than a solo release, careless whisper for example. It is all a bit of fun though so let's roll with it.
