Faye Dunaway
Kevin Bacon
Jonathan Frakes
Bill Pullman
Peter Cushing v Faye Dunaway - a tough one, Cushing is undoubtedly more classic, but somewhat a one trick pony.  Faye is less classic, though more varied an actor.
Kevin Bacon v Jodell Ferland - Jodell who???
Jamie Foxx v Jonathan Frakes - for obvious reasons
Viola Davis v Bill Pullman - this is a tough one.  Viola is probably the better actor, but I've loved a lot more of Bill's movies, including one of my favourite RomComs in While You Were Sleeping which was simply adorable.

Bacon v Ferland and Foxx v Frakes were unfortunate draws for the latter in each pairing, coming up against a couple of heavy hitters. Tempted as I was to go for the underdog in each of those bouts with me being a big fan of both Dark Matter and Star Trek: TNG, Bacon and Foxx are just in a different league and I can't deny them my vote on this occasion.

Never heard of her either.  Just looked at her filmography and she's been in a crap load of films and TV shows.  I think the only thing I've seen of them was the one episode of Dark Angel that she appeared in when she was 7.  I think she definitely plays to a completely different demographic. I recommend checking out Dark Matter... 'Tis the type of show I think might be to your liking...

I had hoped that we might pick up on something / someone we'd never seen as part of the 'game'. I'm a big fan of Camille Cottin and she got blitzed earlier. C'est la vie and all that.

Premise looks interesting all right.  Not any any of my streaming services at the moment unfortunately, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Only ever seen her in Call My Agent (I'm guessing the same for most people).  She was decent in it but she's no Aunt May Big Grin

My strong aversion to Jack Nicholson  surprises most people. Like Lineman said, no accounting for taste - I would be in the minority for most entertainment genres.

I'm posting this now as I wont have time to do it in the morning. I didnt post it around 9pm like I'd hoped as I was having too much fun at DejaBoo's ms paint reveal for Halloween. It wont close until the afternoon.

I thought the Viola Davis / Bill Pullman & Jamie Foxx / Jonathan Frakes ties were going to be closer particularly as Mr. Frakes bolted into a 3-1 lead early on. Jodell Ferland had a tough break drawing Kevin Bacon. Sometimes the underdog wins and sometimes they dont.

There are some real legendary cinematic names in the next group. This is a tough draw and obviously they cant all make it through.

Katharine Hepburn v Barry Fitzgerald - because Hepburn is just great and Fitzgerald probably didn’t do any favours to the diddly eye reputation of the Irish in Hollywood.
Elizabeth Perkins v Ian McKellen - Ian has been in some great stuff and not just LotR or X Men.
Matthew Rhys v Ingrid Bergman - because Ingrid is gonna walk it, deservedly so, but Rhys doesn’t deserve a whitewash.
Rock Hudson v John Wayne - cos he’s the goddamned duke!

Quickbeam gave a 'no whitewash' vote to Matthew Rhys who was always up against it having drawn the legendary screen star Ingrid Bergman. Four straight calls really.

He didn't make a movie of this and eventually turned the rights over to his son Michael Douglas, who was able to secure financing and produce the film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975).

Kirk Douglas v Allison Janney - oh gods, I love Allison, especially CJ Cregg, but I can't vote against Spartacus and the other classics that Douglas has been part of.
