Tried to switch my Dad's broadband at the weekend... 🤦♀️ So it let me purchase the new package, but turns out his existing contract was so old the 8 digit account number may not have been a UAN, and now he is having trouble getting through to the new provider to sort it out. He is also older now and struggles with this kinda stuff and is hours away so I can't really help either. Trying to save him some money and now the immense hassle created - I'll just go hit my head off a wall 🤯🤬😖
If you don't know, just accept the first answer on google...
