He more or less merged Funkadelic with his other band, Parliament, as Parliament-Funkadelic, or more usually P-Funk. A guy I used to work with years ago went to a Clinton gig, can't remember where exactly, possibly Whelan's. Later on he went into a nearby chipper. As he was queuing the guy behind him accidentally bumped into him and my mate turned around to see George Clinton, in a shiny silver suit with multi-coloured dreads patiently waiting to order his food. No amount of drink prepares you for something like that.
