What the hell is a soft role claim? Jacob has mentioned that twice now about me.

I join my fellow newbie in asking what is a soft role claim?

Hints in someone's posts that they are roled.
Not an outright claim like Dexter with his Hercules picture, but more like using phrases maybe associated with the character as hints to fall back on.
We are all taking Dexter at his word right now because nobody else has come out and said he is lying. The question is if @Zeena Warrior Princess was doing a role claim to Hercules by using the phrase "God Almighty".

Just had a full read back and thoughts so far -

Oprah - fluffy Mcflufferson, asking other if they're wolves as a wolf can slip up and say yes. Not buying any of that.

Raymond - querying a post that shouldn't have had attention drawn to it

Countess - need to see more analysis from the Countess, I'm not sure how a flavour munch sets up the lynch as it's a standard mechanic. "it is flavour. without it we would lynch someone tonight for no reason, thereby the village would be the bad guys."

The interaction between Gordon and Boris stood out. Boris asked Gordon to explain his reasoning like he was an eejit, then accused Gordon of being OTT. I have a good lean on Gordon but not so sure about Boris.

Lilly - niggle here, will need to see more

Friar - slight town lean here, not afraid to ruffle feathers

Amy - neutral, will need to hear more here. Did mention we'd be down 2 tonight with the SK, I presume that includes munch tomorrow morning?

Dora - just home from hols so no real feel as yet

Vincent and Zeena - 2 noobs trying to find their feet in the game

Mc Donald - village lean

Dexter - village lean, like the engagement and questioning and his reaction to Mc Donald

Will probably vote for Oprah, I won't be available much this evening, if at all, but will be online more after that.

Can you explain this? A flavour munch is a standard mechanic used to allow all players have some game time.

@Gordon the Cook, why did you ask what a flavour munch is? Have you not played a Boards game before?

Had a read back on Countess. There's a lot of short posts that don't really add much and no reads list. They didn't seem to remember the Mc veto on shooting Jacob, they also left Dexter out of the Oprah votes when giving percentage chances of finding a wolf.

They have posted the excel sheets, stressed the need to block vote today, pointed out that Hercules isn't as powerful without a power role to protect as he dies if successful, and the fact that if we lynch Gaston the last voter dies with them.

Keen on Raymond for wolf and asked him if one of his teammates was ballsy enough to post the veto. We know Mc was the sk though at this stage though.

I couldn't say I'm convinced Countess is a wolf, but I'm not convinced they're village either. I really don't understand the logic behind the quoted post, a flavour munch doesn't give us a reason for lynch, and lynching without a flavour munch wouldn't make 'the village the bad guys'. Flavour is flavour and game dynamics are just game dynamics.

he gave reads on all remaining players, who he thought was village/wolf.

i speculated that 1 of the 3 he said is wolfy, is actually a wolf. the other wolves would be included in his village leans.

I was advised by others(think it was Boris but apologies if not!) the best way to learn game is interact with others.

God almighty your obviously not as helpful as others to new players to the game.

Just catching up on my lunchbreak and to be honest Im finding it hard to follow with all the multiple quotes per post.

I really have no idea how Im supposed to figure out who is bad and who is good but I'll try read through all the posts after work to get a better handle on it.

Im going to have to go for Oprah aswell.

Just didnt think her first post to me was very helpful to a newbie.

I know I'll probably have to be able to take it more as the game goes on but that's my reasoning for now.

So what does this mean for the game, do we not vote now if someone is already killed?

Well it's all happening now, I was in work so how do you expect me to log on then.

Im not a wolf, I dont remember who asked but people were saying that myself or Vincent might be as both newbies.

Maybe you all picked it up really easy but its very hard to figure out who is meant to be bad or good and then it feels like every 5 secs another person is killed and not by the nightly lynch.

I dont get how I'm meant to work out who is who.

If can't work it out this evening after reading the posts, I  was just going to go with the majority and who you all wanted us to vote for because you all understand the game.

i never wanted to vote dexter. i speculated that 1 of moe's wolfy leans would actually be a wolf. 
at the time i didnt realise 2 were already dead. it was more a probability and human nature thing.

For me, cross referencing Moe's reads and last night's votes, it is currently between Countess and Jacob for me. 

I am not sure about bussing Raymond today because why would you bus the wolf with the power? 
You would bus Gaston. 

Saying that, did Jacob join the Raymond votes today officially? Countess did say they would vote that way but we don't know for sure. 

Countess is not reading the thread at all. I didn't like their comment to me "don't read I to it" when that's actually the game. Moe's wording for Connie was also quite interesting in their reads. Everyone was slightly village lean, unsure, fluffy etc. However with Connie, they gave quite specific reasons. Saying that though, I can rip up my wagonomics exercise now, because Ray was one of their team, so would Moe be likely to put 2 wolves in their FFA day one? 

Jacob I feel is deflecting questions a lot, was very quick to jump off Amy earlier when challenged on it and their reaction was very much "look over there". They were the first to put their vote on Oprah too on D1.
