Well done to @jp liz v1 and @Rachel Stevens on a Pogo Stick , both of you have excellent knowledge.

Great game and well run @Kol , I missed the very start so enjoyed playing along from the outside (nice to know you can't be eliminated if you're not officially playing! ).

I would have got 6/8 in that round. I didn't know Footloose , and although I started singing the Westlife one I somehow ended up on a completely different song by a different artist.

Cyndi Lauper took me a little while to remember but I knew Patti Smith straight away.

Didn't post it at the time, in case Kol was using it for another round, but this was what the opening lines of "Swear It Again" mysteriously led me to *shrugs* :

So the idea with this was to create a series with different themes if the first turned out okay which I think it did. I think though a tweak to the scoring system might be needed. It sounded dramatic at the beginning, the posibilty of loosing multiple players though I think it dwindled interest in the game much quicker. One player per round might be enough but then you need a lot more round and thus questions.

With regards to themes, I had in mind movies, song intros, pitures, and tv show theme tunes.

This brings me to the idea of theme tunes. I would need to create audio files with multplie theme tunes, a small snippet of each, and post them somewhere. Now, my knowledge of creating audio files wouldn't be great, any ideas from those more knowledgeable in this area? Something like Audacity I guess would work?

So these are just ideas, feel free to make suggestions or indeed use the format yourself to create your own games.

I loved this! I did think that upping the number of questions per round might help with separating out players a bit more.

Opening lines in books would work too, maybe jokes and their comedians, stills of actors in certain roles, brand logos/tag lines, words based on its synonyms or antonyms.
