The Banned - Little Girl  Vs  Akan Walker - Faded - One of my nominations and a hidden gem. This is what I would describe as a genuine ROHW, as it reached the lower end of the UK Top 40 and they had no other hit in the UK or the US.

The Bravery - An Honest Mistake Vs The Sugarhill Gang - Rapper's Delight - Such a cracker of a tune that I have to vote against my own nomination! In my defence, I would have nominated it if I had thought of this one - I barely knew it!

Lou Reed - Walk On The Wild Side Vs Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Relax - I noticed that this was their only Top 40 hit in the US and I couldn't resist nominating it! The other song is something of a classic too.

Wild Cherry - Play That Funky Music Vs Talk Talk - It's My Life - Great to see that Talk Talk had at least one hit in the US and with such a great song, although all of their singles were really good anyway. Like the previous match, the other song is a bit of a classic too.
