Laurence Olivier v Richard Gere - I feel bad voting against Olivier here. He's the better actor undoubtedly, but I've just preferred more Gere films, including the saddest film of all time.
Tom Cruise v Jason Robards - I know the twerp will win, and he's been in some good movies, but I just can't. And Robards has been great in many fine films.
Sidney Poitier v Alexander Skarsgard - oh he did make it!! Well since his dad didn't get through I have to vote for Alex, though I'm sorry for Poitier.
Julie Andrews v Karl Malden - kudos to whoever nominated him (Kol?). He's just one of those quietly solid actors that keeps popping up, and I'm sure Andrews will win this one so I don't want to see a whitewash.
