If the village is even numbers going into first lynch, then have a blast, which will be executed whether they are munched or not. there value is in being out and making the munch harder for the wolves, as they can't munch the obvious target.

I don't get the even/odd number relevance?

If the vig reveals they'll be a munch target, you said yourself that "their value is in being out there and  making the munch harder for the wolves, as they can't munch the obvious target."

Does the vig revealing not make them an easy target?

We have a body guard, they can't munch the obvious target. and vig won't be accidentally lynched tonight.

I loved The Office, such a great show, fun to play a game with this theme. This is also my first ever evening game, is it usually quite intense or is it extra tough to get reads due to low volume of post and discussion?

There are 3 rvs, 3 wolves, and 5 nrvs. There’s no indication if the wolves have any powers, beyond the hint that Jan might be bulletproof, so a claimed cop+hidden doc is risky. A mass claim seems out of the question too, unless the nrv role pm has not been shared with wolves.

My apologies so, I just read mass reveal and went NO and obviously didn't read your first post properly. Then when I saw you talking about it I didn't realise you were just explaining it to people and thought you wanted to do it

What are you confused about? You made an unforced nrv claim on D1. There was a pool of 8 villagers for the rvs to hide in, if your claim is truthful, now it’s a pool of 7, for no apparent reason. Now if you’re playing with wolves, and claimed nrv despite being an rv, then they can decide whether to believe your nrv claim or suspect you are an rv, wifom.

Still a pool of 8 tbh.

Plus everyone is always gonna declare nrv. I don't get where you are going with this. Seems a bit of a flat cake.

The bodyguard can't protect the same person on consecutive nights though if this plays like other games. The vig is wide open the next night, it's D1, it would be risky for the vig to reveal.

I mean, the seer is hardly going to come out to say don't worry folks I've found an NRV. I don't like people asking to be peeked. In my view it is often a wolf trying to convince the seer not to peek them in the first place. You're also going on the list.

It’s not about RVs coming out, if your claim is truthful, you just made the wolves’ job a little easier. If you’re village, they know you’re telling the truth, and are an nrv, so they’re unlikely to aim your way anytime soon as the’ll want to much the Seer, Bodyguard and, possibly Vig. If you’re a wolf and fake-claiming, fine. If the Seer decides to peek you, fine, but I guess the Seer will try to peek players they suspect are wolves, and collect confirmed-villagers if they’re wrong.

Me and Duffman have both played a lot of games over on boards. I just never migrated over to this site with everyone else. I only done it for this game hence the lack of posts.

Apart from that though things that caught my attention were Guirespana for N0 talk of mass claims and RVs coming out, also mentioning derp clear for duffman and not Neo. Lorcan for the derp clear thing as well and Liz wanting to waste a seer peak.

There's not a lot to go on at the minute but they were just things that made me think oh. Definitely would like lower posters to talk more as I have no reads on some people

If you bothered to read my other posts you would see that I explicitly said I didn't think there was anything wrong with you mentioning the flavour munch. The point I was making was that Guirespana and Lorcan mentioned me and Duffman for talking about it and I was questioning why that was the case when neither said anything about you for talking about the same thing

even number of villagers, last lynch is 4 players, not good, game ends on a munch, so better if the vig has a shot and makes the game odd.

The half baked thing is a good analogy because your theory on why liz shouldn't claim NRV is unproven (baking pun) and will thus likely turn out like a flat cake, as I said before.

I have played tons. And have suggested the vig not shoot before. Its not very off for me, its not off at all for me to suggest!

I didn't play before I joined this site so have only played with you in 3 games I think. You have a very direct posting style and it can be jarring to read at times!
