Hello all.

We had a game broken before using that NRV PM thing. I wouldn't be in favour of trying to use meta stuff like PMs to win the game. It is game breakey and not in the spirit of the game.

We are supposed to use our investigative skills and thr powers given to the RVs to win, so I think that's what we should do.

I love some of the later episodes.... Especially the last few... But I agree I think watching the full thing makes sense and is well worth it!

It's nothing like the UK version and is probably the best example of a US remake ever. So if any show is gonna do it for you nothing....

Haven't checked the tracker but will do later. It used to be pretty even wolves to village but iirc village have been doing a lot better recently than wolves have, on average.

So I think skunk is a wolf based on her being super helpful yet super in the dark.

I have no issue with the vigilante coming out, but believe the seer and the bg should stay hidden for as long as possible.

Because other than making the village an odd number, i don't think they should shoot.
If the village is even numbers going into first lynch, then have a blast, which will be executed whether they are munched or not. there value is in being out and making the munch harder for the wolves, as they can't munch the obvious target.

I think i understand this but I wouldn't be on board with it, you think the vig should come out, but not shoot?.. aside from the mental game it would play with the wolves, we don't know how many bullets the vig has, right?

Anyway I'm gonna trust the vig to make the right decision on that, I just found it weird you mentioned it

Yes if they are out would the wolves take out the obvious

There's not a lot to go on at the minute but they were just things that made me think oh. Definitely would like lower posters to talk more as I have no reads on some people

There’s still the bodyguard, and groupthink to choose a target if they’re lost, but often the lynch runner-up is a decent candidate for the vig if the lynchee flips village.

Tbf, not much of substance from anyone yet. A few ISOs with minimal to comment on, and no point in repeating that. A couple of accusations, but with nothing to really back them up. Most that I have experience playing with are playing as usual. 

I'm always a chatterbox, but that doesn't really indicate alignment.

Me and Duffman have both played a lot of games over on boards. I just never migrated over to this site with everyone else. I only done it for this game hence the lack of posts.

What are you confused about? You made an unforced nrv claim on D1. There was a pool of 8 villagers for the rvs to hide in, if your claim is truthful, now it’s a pool of 7, for no apparent reason. Now if you’re playing with wolves, and claimed nrv despite being an rv, then they can decide whether to believe your nrv claim or suspect you are an rv, wifom.

I didn't play before I joined this site so have only played with you in 3 games I think. You have a very direct posting style and it can be jarring to read at times!

Mass reveal is just against the spirit of the game tbh. I know it happens and can be useful but even given the numbers, the mass reveal is probably still a little useless if the normal stipulations re BG and the likes apply

Spreadsheets and good old fashioned sleuthing should be order of the day

Just on the question of village/wolf wins, very much in recent times its been village heavy IIRC. The spreadsheet on boards is great and is fairly up to date last time I checked.

Very quiet first evening but Sundays usually are anyway

WhoWolf and Red Riding Hood were wolf wins, but think it was a long run of village wins before that.

Two games I missed, coincidence maybe 

My observation so far is everyone is very friendly, not sure what I usually expect in N0 but hey

That's mad, I don't remember playing any games with a flavour munch opening. I could be wrong though I wonder is it a relatively new thing?

Not a huge amount from duffman, a few interactions with others but also just a fair amount of their own thoughts on how the game should be played, the level of activity and reveals. Hasn't thrown any shade yet. And for that I am going to throw some shade the duffers way.

I loved The Office, such a great show, fun to play a game with this theme. This is also my first ever evening game, is it usually quite intense or is it extra tough to get reads due to low volume of post and discussion?

There are 3 rvs, 3 wolves, and 5 nrvs. There’s no indication if the wolves have any powers, beyond the hint that Jan might be bulletproof, so a claimed cop+hidden doc is risky. A mass claim seems out of the question too, unless the nrv role pm has not been shared with wolves.

Ahhhhhhh well tickle me embarrassed. You said it was risky and a mass reveal is out of the question. My apologies so, I just read mass reveal and went NO and obviously didn't read your first post properly. Then when I saw you talking about it I didn't realise you were just explaining it to people and thought you wanted to do it

We have a body guard. Recalculate that.

In previous games they couldn't protect the same person on consecutive nights though. Guirienespana has spoken about the bg protecting elsewhere after reveal as the wolves will assume the vig is protected and then protecting the vig the next night, but that at best has the vig safe for 2 nights. It's risky so early in the game.
