Gonna go for D2 myself
I've only seen one of these, don't know if its fair to pick. Going with field of dreams though, great show.

Right so. My topic is the humble western. The likes of this classic from 1952 - High Noon starring Gary Cooper & Grace Kelly.

Very tough to make a choice here. I had a lot of movies on the go frequently!

¿Qué? I know nothing
I've just realised that there wasn't a film I watched repeatedly as a kid because domestic video recorders hadn't been invented at that time so we were at the mercy of whatever came on TV.
I was working well over a year before I bought our first VHS player, I remember it was reduced from £650 to £450 in a sale, because they were ridiculously expensive in 1985. £450 is the equivalent of €1,170 today (£650 is €1,690). They were nearly giving them away for free by the time they became obsolete!

I remember going with my Dad to get our first one, and he bought it second hand (late 80s I guess). Even then, it was costly!
They still have one in their sitting room, and my mam uses it to put on old Barney videos she has for years for the grandkids (they don't have a smart tv or anything similar in that room).
Reading is fundamental
We had 'rich' neighbours who had one long before we bought our own!

Would you believe my dad still has a video player and vhs tapes
