Nearly forgot about this - @Gru
I don’t really have a favorite, there are songs I like from a few of their albums. But if I had to choose, I’d probably go with ''Brand New Eyes'' not just because of “Decode,” but also because it has a few other great songs I really enjoy.
For me, the ''Paramore'' album is where things with them started to go downhill. It feels like they were trying something softer, but there's just a weird mishmash of songs. There are some good songs though ''Ain’t It Fun'' and ''Still Into You'' are fun.
The' 'After Laughter'' album, that’s when they really went in a completely different direction than what I’d expect from them.
It’s not a bad collection of songs, but most of them irritate me for some reason, ''Hard Times '' included.
On the positive side - Hayley looks beautiful in the ''Rose-Colored Boy'' video, and ''Tell Me How'' is lovely song (though I can’t help thinking it would sound even better remixed into a 90's dance track
). There’s a background instrument, some twinkly, toy-like sound that I can’t name, but it annoys me.
I think I might actually like ''After Laughter '' if it came from another band, but for Paramore, it feels like they’ve drifted too far from the sound I want from them. It’s almost like they/she doesn't quite know what they want to be anymore
From their newer stuff, I like ''The News'' from the ''This Is Why'' album.
As for Hayley’s solo work, I haven’t had the interest to dive into it yet after that previous shit song I posted, but I’ll probably give it a listen at some point - just so I can have another pointless moan
