Nope, and I even explained what a flavour munch was 🙈 didn't pop into my head when I was reading and replying to that tbh with ya.

Also nope. 

My thinking is, that if it's flavor, then the fact that it is specific to the story and world building, why would he choose beast, who clearly comes back as the prince, when he could literally have killed anyone else that doesn't have such a thing in their own story. 

could have killed a dwarf, or gepetto or someone if it was purely to have an early inconsequential kill?
